Maine Woodworks was founded in 1991 as a social enterprise of Creative Works, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports individuals with disabilities throughout Maine. Comprised of an integrated workforce employing people both with and without disabilities, Maine Woodworks was founded with one overarching goal: to provide meaningful employment to individuals with disabilities.

From tranquil blues to vivid reds, we know color evokes a mood and a feeling that transports us. That's why we offer a stunning palette of 40 shades, including our two-toned weathered finish. In addition to our extensive assortment of colors, we are happy to color match for a small additional charge.
At Maine Woodworks, we create cottage-style furniture that is benchcrafted and built to order, one piece at a time, at our woodshop in Saco, Maine. We use regionally sourced, sustainably harvested hardwood, composite framed panels, and a combination of time-tested and modern day joinery. Our drawers feature four-corner English dovetail construction with enameled Euro-glide slides.
