We provide not only bread but also delicious moments in your day that can be shared with your loved ones and friends having our bread and your favorite tea or coffee at home, work, or school. Yoon's Bakery is a Korean Bakery based on the French-style of baking, serving a unique selection of fresh bakery goods made with the highest quality ingredients.
Delicate buns of fine-grained, baked until just pale gold and filled or topped with freshly made creams or custards flavored with chocolate, coffee, or fruit. Some, filled with pastes of sweet potato, red bean, or green pea, which may provide rich flavor. We believe you really can taste the difference.

Mr. Yoon learned his trade in Korea. He came to Ann Arbor on a visit in 2010 and was surprised that with all the Korean restaurants around town but there were no Korean bakeries.

Love this place! I went during the afternoon time frame and a lot of the options were already gone. I suggest stopping by in the morning near the opening time to get the best selection. My favorites include the twist donuts as well as the red bean bun. They have a good selection of Korean style bread including both savory and sweet options. The seating is a bit limited since this is more of a pickup place.

WOW! Yoon's is perfect. There is not one thing to complain about. I went once with my husband and found myself immediately back two days later chasing after those chocolate cream buns. I love, love, love the chocolate cream bun. I also have tried the pecan tart, a strawberry cream cake, and the chocolate cake. My husband tried the red bean bun with cream. They also offer boba.
I really liked that they are so Covid conscious and have everything individually wrapped. They have trays when you first walk in that you can place the baked goods on and then hand it through the plexiglass window

I stopped in hoping for some red bean treats and found so much more. Very clean and well stocked bakery with fresh products. The employees working were very kind and although I tried alot today the spread is large enough I can go back and get all new things next time. Very happy I stopped in and can't wait to come back

I was a weekly regular the past year because I loved buying these pastries and eating them for breakfast during the work day. My three personal favorites are the Castella, mocha bun, and sweet potato cream bun. I've tried most of their offerings, but the ones mentioned are by far the best!
The last time I went, my friend and I decided to get a bingsoo. They had a lot of wonderful options, but we settled for the fruit option - and it came pretty large topped with a lot of diced golden kiwis, blueberries, strawberries, peaches and red bean. Then it was drizzled with a good amount of condensed

Yoon's is the perfect place to go for a sweet treat or a savory snack! I love their classic Asian bread options as well as their fun fusion breads :)
Pros: great quality breads, good variety, individually wrapped (as much as I hate single-use plastic, covid has made me a germaphobe)
Cons: location isn't bad but not convenient for many Ann Arbor-ites, expensive compared to other bakeries, some breads are not that tasty
Is it my favorite Asian bakery in the southeast MI area? No, but it definitely satisfies any pastry craving easily.

Heyyy it's officially my 39th birthday (omg I just typo-ed 29 and DON'T I WISH) and yesterday I popped into Yoon's to treat myself to some pastries and pick up a birthday cake.
As usual I got my beloved sausage panko rolls, some custard buns, an egg tart and some red bean buns for good measure. New since the last time I was there was the basque cheesecake which was--OMG. Regular cheesecake is cooked low and slow, gently in a water bath, but basque is crustless (which means gluten free, FYI) and baked fast and hot, so the heat caramelize the outside, creating a slightly crust-like

First time visiting Yoon's. Got a few different items. I love that you get an itemized receipt because a lot of the buns and rolls look similar. Try a soboroo; it's absolutely delightful.
The store is serious about maintaining covid safety, which I appreciate. Prices are VERY fair: I picked up six items, including a full loaf of bread, for less than twenty bucks. Please support a great small business if you can!

Yoon's Bakery is absolutely amazing. We tried the red bean paste with cream, castella, apricot crumb twist, and choco-choco. The red bean paste with cream is a MUST TRY, but all of them were crazy good. The prices are also unmatched - I think I paid $7-ish dollars for the 4 pastries.
I went around 10 AM on Saturday and they were fully stocked. I've also visited on a Saturday evening and there weren't as many options. I think their website says they bake between 5 AM - Noon so I definitely recommend going some time in the morning for the freshest pastries and most options.

Moving here from a big city I assumed I would be giving up my korean pastries/bread. I left behind a Tous Les Jours and a coming-soon Paris Baguette and figured I would need to visit Chicago or the east coast to have anything close to Korean cream cakes.. I am so glad to say I was wrong!
This place is small and nowhere near as flashy or fancy - but the quality of cakes, pastries, creams - are truly incredible. Their cream cake is soft, moist, not too sweet and the cream is perfectly airy and delicious. So very much worth the cost!!
The egg tarts are some of the best I've had - a perfectly

Came here at the start of stay at home / covid craziness. More like...I wandered in here because of its excellent location in the plaza with Way One market and Rite Aid. Seriously, this place is tucked away and unassuming but I would very much recommend popping in when you have the time.
Not sure if its due to recent extra hygienic cautions as of late or not, but I appreciate how this place individually wrapped each of their baked goods. Bravo! The presentation alone is beautiful and it looks great. The interior of the store is clean and simplistic but all the more to make the buns look more inviting

This unassuming storefront in a small strip mall packs quite the punch. I was slightly underwhelmed walking in seeing individually wrapped items on a table and empty racks on the wall...I later found out that every single item is homemade in the back of the store and then individually wrapped to maintain cleanliness and freshness. Each employee was also wearing a face mask.
We tried the egg custard bun, egg tart, blueberry lemon scone and twist donut, each of which was Better than the last. You can absolutely tell these pastries were homemade today and I'm glad we got there right when they
