The Kansas Health Care Association (KHCA) is a statewide non-profit association that represents over 260 long-term care providers. Founded in 1951, KHCA is the largest association of its kind in Kansas.
Its members are composed of for-profit and not-for-profit facilities consisting of nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, nursing facilities for mental health, intermediate care facilities for the intellectually diabled, and hospital-based long term care units.Our members provide nursing health care to over 20,000 convalescent and chronically ill Kansans.

Linda has dedicated her professional career to providing elders in senior living centers with quality of life and quality of care. Linda received her BSN from The University of Iowa and her post-graduate Licensed Adult Care Home Administrator education from Kansas University. Linda started her senior care career at a large senior living community in Wichita as a unit charge nurse.
The Foundation for Aging and Care of Elders of Kansas, Inc (FACE of Kansas) was established in 2006 in association with KHCA/KCAL to provide a community organization to promote quality care in Kansas adult care homes.
FACE of Kansas seeks to improve the quality of care and services, and the quality of life for elderly and disabled Americans, through opportunities under which members may exchange ideas and obtain education to improve the knowledge, abilities and standing of the adult care home profession.

KHCA/KCAL represents more than 280 long term care facilities, providing care and services to more than 20,000 convalescent and chronically ill Kansans. Our Annual Convention that is held in the fall draws approximately 350 attendees, the majority of which are Administrators, AL Operators, Nurses, Social Workers and Direct Care Staff.
Contact with lawmakers is vital to the future of long term care facilities in Kansas. It is virtually impossible for each individual facility to be heard on its own. KHCA serves as the voice for all its members by keeping the Legislature informed of the needs of elderly and infirm residents, as well as problems and concerns expressed by Medicaid and Medicare providers.
