I had a issue with Metzner"s this morning with the receptionist and wasn't happy with how it went. I wrote a review and was contacted by a very nice gentlemen about my review and he explained what happened and totally fix my problem. I had the exact experience as some of the previous reviews. I had packer city soft water, and continually had problems with our water. We had terrible iron bacteria and hard water. I actually had packer city soft water and culligan out the same day. Culligan took time to inspect my entire house, toilets, showers, etc... culligan also tested my water, and provided me lots of solutions and options, some not even culligan products. Packer city soft water did NOTHING. My water technicians name was Ian. He was very polite in my house, not pushy with sales at all, and very upfront and honest with pricing

I lease equipment from Metzner's. While I take no issue with their water treatment equipment, which works well, I take issue with them increasing prices by as much as 30% without so much as an email sent to notify their customers in advance of said increases. I had to learn about these increases by comparing current and prior invoices. What they've done is no way to treat one's customer. A simple email could have provided all the necessary information in advance of the actual increases.

We have a well and have been working with Packer City Water for 5 years; our water continues to be poor quality; odor, rust and even bacteria. Culligan came in and clearly identified all the issues and put in a new system quickly. I trust these guys. Ian was great; friendly, considerate and helpful. I will be sharing this company with all our neighbors.

Look elsewhere if you are looking for repair on a Culligan softener you own. I paid $125 for basically a sales pitch for a new unit. I called for service, but they did not resolve the issue and pushed for a meeting with a sales guy to talk me into a $3K new softener or monthly payments that will never end. Finally went online to search for a advice on the problem and had the softener back up and running in about 5 minutes; a very simple repair I thought they would have found during the service call. Very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone.

The tap water at our new house tasted of iron and smelled like rotten eggs! We called Metzner's Culligan and they quickly sent out a highly experienced technician. He worked non-stop to install a new softener, a sediment filter, a state of the art reverse osmosis system with remote on/off button for sink, R.O. for the refrigerator icemaker plus other needed upgrades. This astounding specialist inspected everything carefully and gave us a full explanation of our new system. We are so happy that Metzner's Culligan is taking care of all our clean water needs!
