Our lives have been blessed with the opportunity to learn the taste of good wine over years of being stationed in Europe with the Air Force. One particular place comes to mind: The Boot House in England. The owner had a passion for pairing gourmet food and the best wines. He had this way with words when he was explaining the plates on the menu: how each piece of meat was cooked, how each side was prepared.
It really caused you to experience the dinner as if it was the first time you've eaten in your life. You truly tasted each bite of food, each sip of wine. These dinners always reminded us to cherish life. Join our email list for updates from Parr Vineyards and our new releases! I know the Parr's very well, they are great people and extremely passionate about their wines. They are one of less than an handful of wineries in Texas where you can find exceptional estate wines that are grown and made by the farmer. Great wines start in the vineyard and Parr's wines are nothing short of excellent! As an added bonus you can visit two wineries at the same location because Robert Clay Vineyards is located at the same location, which happens to be my winery. If you're a VIP club member at William Chris, Lewis Wines, Southold Farm & Cellar, Kuhlman Cellars, or Perdenalas Cellars

Our whole family absolutely loved visiting the tasting room at Parr Vineyards in Mason. It's a hidden gem that I would prefer to keep to myself, but the joy of meeting Dilek Parr and tasting some amazing wine is just to good not to share. I expect to be making many trips (even if out of the way) to Mason in the near future.

We stumbled upon this winery one hour before closing. We had our Labrador with us as we were camping nearby. What a treat! We will be back & highly recommend this winery/tasting room. The owner & staff were amazing & took the time to share the history of their wine. Made our trip memorable. , If you're in the area, you have got to make a stop!

Parr Vineyards is certainly no stranger to Texas Hill Country wineries. William and Chris Wines, Pedernales Cellars, and Lewis Wines have all produced some of their best wines from fruit sourced from this vineyard. Located in the outer frontiers of the the Texas Hill Country AVA near Mason, owners Robert and Dilek Parr have been transforming their 20-acre ponderosa into one of the most unique and top-notch grape growers over the last 15 years. Living abroad and experiencing many great ways of pairing food and wine helped plant those early seeds of one day growing grapes to produce their own wine
