My friend refered me to them for my aluminum mobility scooter. A "Triaxe Sport" for repairs to the framework due to mines was a colapsable scooter which could no longer stay in scooter mode (only in colapsed mode). It is now like brand NEW! I'ts a good thing too cause' this model got so popular that you cannot get one til August! Ed Dang's ssved my life!

Called there to have some fabrication done to make some brackets, on the phone guy sounded professional, but as we got there found that office secretary racially profiled me by saying go be expensive!!! Just because I was local thought I couldn’t afford it!! Little do he know I’m a business owner and own 2 homes!! Maybe if company wanted to stay in business they should screen people before hiring!! If job is too hard go back school instead of racially profiling the local people!! Very Unprofessional behavior!!

I had a SUPER small job I needed done, getting a bicycle part cut in half. Most shops either laughed me out the door, or wanted to charge me over 3x what I paid for the part. Ed Dang Machine Works not only did it while I waited, but they were MORE than fair on their pricing. I highly recommend taking all your work to them!

I had a aluminum exhaust elbow on my manifold that cracked on my Perkins engine. I could not find a replacement on the island. So I went to Dang’s to see if they could weld the crack. They just fabricated me a new one that afternoon for a very reasonable price and I was off and sailing that afternoon.

My mother’s metal traveling folding chair broke. While I was visiting Honolulu I took it to two different places for spot welding, and they told me that it would take several weeks to do spot welding! Then when I took it to Ed Dang’s shop they told me to come back after lunch. When I came back after about two hours they had not only done a very good spot welding job but they had also painted the spot welds with a black color to match the black color of the metal folding chair. My mother is now extremely happy that she can once again use her metal traveling folding chair.
