Lanco federal credit union is under staffed and can not keep up with customers, you can’t reach anyone for hours and when you do speak to someone you are put back on hold…only then to be told there is nobody in that department! Worst customer service. Very disappointed and recommend using a bank that can keep up with customers. After 20 years and multiple family members that have been there longer, this will be our last year with LFCU.

Got a car loan through them and it has been awful ever since. They someone managed to bounce a check from an account. That had 4 times the check amount! Anything to charge you a massive fee!!!! Typical bank

Terrible customer service if you have a huge issue, like identity theft. They completely ignore your concerns and wipe out your accounts before explaining anything. Please use a federal bank for your protection. They have talked down to me, treated me as if I did something wrong. It is so disheartening and unfair.

They were very kind and helpful to me. I am a member of another credit union, but I needed to deposit a whole bunch of coins from a church project, they were very helpful and let me use their coin machine without charge.

Never easy to get ahold of anyone. You have to physically go into the branches. Not a good bank for someone who has a busy workload.
UPDATE: Doesn't let you reply to anyone on google review, but I must say LANCO still proves me right with never answering phone calls. I'm trying to reach out to someone to cancel my bank account since I opened with someone else who answers their phone calls. This bank wont last long with individuals that have busy schedules or self employed.
If you want a strong bank with strong customer service check out members 1st. Haven't been disappointed and top notch customer

I will not give this place any type of good review. Do not take your money here! We have been banking with them for over 4 years, and now we have had enough! Just in the last year they have let 4 unauthorized withdrawals go from our account, 2 within the last month. Now at what point is the bank held responsible for negligence with our funds?
Also after the first 2 times they promised to secure our account and yada yada yada but guess what? Money still goes missing. Now 2 out the four times they didn't even know about the withdrawals. We had to bring it to their attention. On top of all of that

The people are very friendly but their service is a joke. Sometimes they just shut their system down and don't allow you access to money. The first couple times I was out to eat over a weekend and had my debit card declined and the last time was while I was on vacation. Imagine being thousands of miles from home and have no access to money... You can't eat or do anything at all until they open on Monday.

Only good if you have small simple banking needs. Manager changes very often, they don’t bother even to interact with you, short staff and always new staff for the most of time, Except one or two teller nobody seems to care. If you need to speak to somebody always a long wait.
Their customer service representative is never in the office.
