Services
The organization was created to fill a void in pediatric health care when a community survey found that many North Country children were not visiting a doctor between leaving the hospital at birth and entering school.
Families might seek emergency care, but because of a lack of transportation and insurance coverage, their children were not receiving regular well care - including immunizations and physical assessments to catch and treat problems early.North Country Children's Clinic created an innovative model that provided well-care in local communities using a network of volunteers and staff from health facilities and non-profit agencies.

If I could give it a zero, I would. Fought tooth and nail with Dr Jones every step of the way for my son. EVERY referral was an issue with one thing or another. Neglected referring him to ENT after continuing ear infections. Started the fight for the referral in January 2021 and didn't get tubes placed until late OCTOBER! Fought for early intervention referrals, placed in May 2021 after months of asking for the referral just to have them forget to mention I needed to sign a release of information form. Literally just finally finished the evaluation process December 2021 but Dr Jones wants to point

I took my son here and he said "I'm only here for the Popsicles yaaaaayyy," so I would say he had a good experience. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The building is in a good location, but be careful to plan extra time for Arsenal Street traffic during rush hours. The facilities are well maintained, clean and modern. Overall we've had positive experiences with the North Country Family Health Center.

I went here for a 24-48hour PCR test for travel internationally. Called to book, they called me back same day. Got my swab super quick right in my car. And it was free ...
BUT didn’t get my results within 48 hours though they told me not to worry and that testing results came back on weekends too. So I had to cancel my flight, go to a different city and pay $200 for a 1 hour test. Delay my flight 24 hours and get a hotel room. I don’t think it was on them — it’s the company who they run testing through - Quest.
If you go, book early & online so your account is tied directly to your test

Didn't do much for me.
Had to wait 40 minutes after my appointment time because no one told me they went to lunch at 12pm
I was told to come early for paperwork.
Only got x rays and was told I had to pay $800-$900 for my tooth to be pulled and was put on antibiotics until I could come up with the money. I don't have it and this place takes my insurance so I'm confused 😐
Was also lie too!! They wanted me to drive q hour back up just so the dr can look at it again??? Why?? Nothing has changed !!!

If there was a way to give 0 stars i would. This place is a Joke and a half. These Doctors could care less about your health and well being as long as they are getting their pay check. They do not care about your medications or your opinion on things. Your thoughts on your own health do not matter what so ever. They won't fill your meds in a timely manner. They don't keep appointments. They never answer their phone. To be honest you will probably end up dieing before getting reasonable care here or at the JCC location.

I do not recommend the NCFH Dental Clinic in Leray unless you only need cleanings. First off both my children developed dental anxiety after going here. Luckily my oldest son was referred to Watertown Pediatric Dentistry and we are both beyond happy with the care there. He left with a smile on his face and can't wait for his next appointment. Immediately switched him over as a patient after his filling it was so easy. I called the NCFH Dental clinic to send my x-rays to Watertown Dental Health Group and of course they need me to go in and sign a release form before they can do that. But they can

My review is based on experience with school-based health centers. The first experience at the elementary was excellent. I was excited to actually have found a family health clinic for my children and I!!!
Unfortunately, the 2nd experience was a flop. Arriving early, the first staff I met with was friendly, prompt and professional. The second lady named Anabelle was the same until I requested that my daughter not wear the hospital gown as it made her uncomfortable. She was already uncomfortable going in the first plac but she knew it was important. This Anabelle lady was quite (I'm not sure why
