Located in the charming 2-stop-lights town of Pine Mountain, Georgia, just outside of Calloway Gardens lies the charming White Columns Motel. Owned and operated by local residents, this charming respite stands out from more commercial offerings nearby. While situated on the main thoroughfare, the structure is set back well enough that road noise is minimal (along with the town pretty much closing up shop at about 8pm most nights). All in all, a charming and nostalgic experience reminiscent of yesteryears before interstate super highways; where country roads held access to new opportunities of adventure

Owner was so welcoming and helpful with places to eat and go. I was a little worried about the room since this is an older motel. Our room was sooooooo clean! Bed was comfy with good linens. Bathroom was SPOTLESS! I would definitely stay here again. The price was right (unlike other places in the area)!

Don’t let the outside scare you off! It was a very safe and clean motel. The owner was very sweet and accommodating too. She made sure of of our needs were met. We had a cute room with green space outside. The location was awesome... right near all the wonderful parks in the area. We will definitely return there as it was a very positive experience!

Very run down. Needed to get Febreeze to make the room smell good. Had to use the phone outside the office to let the manager know I was there. She told me my room number and that the room key was under the door mat. Not very professional. And breakfast is placed outside on a table for you to pick up.

The owner was very friendly as was the housekeeping lady. You can tell they are proud of the motel. The rooms were very clean. Very quiet area but close to a very good pizza place. It was nice to come out of your room and have a table & chairs to use in the morning & evening when it was not very hot. If ever in the area again, I would stay here.

Our family stayed the week between Christmas and New Years 2015. All of the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The owner was so friendly and helpful. She gave us great tips our first night about the local restaurants, attractions, and even the best places to see beautiful sites and valleys. The motel is close to everything; so convenient. The motel was not fancy, but the rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good but we would have appreciated some yogurt and/or fruit to go with the bagels. Great coffee! We took our little Yorkie and she was right
