When we called in we asked for full hookups. They gave us a site that only had water and electricity. We asked the next morning if we could move to a full hookup site and stay an extra night. They stated that they are full -there are so many vacant spaces though and it’s a Wednesday I doubt it- and that the full hookup sites are the same price as the non full hookup sites. Where does an rv campground get away with doing that?
It is clean though and near enough to the National seashore so if you don’t like being lied to and paying extra for a non full hookup site then you’re good.

Clean campground, friendly staff. Good location to amenities and hiking/sight seeing. It's expensive though. Camp sites are very open.

Pricey ($55) and over crowded. I'm only giving it 2 stars because we found a spot without reservations on a Saturday night. Hot showers, though nasty.

This is a private campsite so the cost is about triple what you would pay for a state or national park. We went on a Holiday Weekend which I guess was our first mistake. They have 200 sites for tents and RV's and you are practically on top of each other. The bathrooms were barely cleaned once a day and by 5:00 in the afternoon were absolutely atrocious. Disgusting may be more accurate. You would think with that many sites occupied, and the cost you pay to be there, they would have enough staff to clean the bathrooms more than once a day. And then there were the racoons. They did have notices

Not the fanciest, and maybe a little overpriced. But it's clean and comfortable. They also always have last minute spots, so I often will come spur of the moment.

Not the best place, not the worst place. Keep food and trash locked up after dark. A skunk came right up to us with our fire and music going. Little critters will make off with your food and trash after dark. Showers are free but aren’t the greatest. Some tent sites are bigger than others. After everyone left on Sunday, all other tent sites in our area were open and they booked someone right next to us for some reason. Not much within walking distance to check out, but the towns nearby are great. There was some trash left behind at the sites and in the fire pits.

Convenient but even though no RV were allowed where tents are...RV were right next to us. Very loud very much too close that we had to move our tent way over to the fence line opposite of where we actually paid for. Also very spendy...too much to pay for not being comfortable or having amenities. But staff was super nice 👍

We have been camping here for over 10 years and always enjoy our stay. The bathrooms could use a face lift but we love the washing sinks and the free showers.

I liked it, had blackberries all around the place, the only main problem for me was the bathroom🚻 it had many spiders and I really don't like spiders, they creep me out, other then that, great place! I saw a mama bird and her baby's! Very cute! I really wanted to hold one

Registration was easy and the grounds were clean and organized. There's 3 main bathrooms and we were lucky to be near one of them. There's quiet time from 10pm to early morning. They have a small store for last-minute supplies. Overall a stress-free experience. Would definitely return!

This campground had everything we needed! Large camp sites, quiet guests. Running potable water and a clean restroom for our students to shower. Only wish the second shower was cleaned and opened , it looked intentionally trashed and was a bit of a bummer for our large group to funnel through only one. Overall great experience!

Am seeing a lot a comments about quiet hours on here and can see that happen. We were here for 3 nights in April and it was pretty chill. Maybe 2/3 full and folks were pretty quiet.
Location is awesome. Lots of trail, places to bike, or go kayaking on the bay. Restrooms were clean though maybe a little worn. RV hookups worked just fine. We ended up getting one without sewer and lines to the dump station was long on the way out Sunday morning.
There is a small market a short walk down the street in case you need a coffee or extra bottle of wine. Enjoy!

The site we stayed at is a little too packed and close together for me. I literally walk out my door to my neighbors sewer which is gross. We pretty much stayed inside our unit as we were so close to the neighbors and it didn't feel we were socially distant safe. Very disappointed, there are other sites that are nicer and a little bit further apart, but the sites in the K area are bad. We will try again when it's not a busy holiday weekend.

I think this place is probably fine if you're RV camping but if you're tent camping it's the pits, literally. People throwing massive parties, overcrowded together, one big hot grass field, and no toilets or showers. We made reservations an hour before we arrived and they said, "Great, you have small kids so we will put you near the showers and bathrooms!" They also told us sites were every other site to allow for social distancing. When we arrived an hour later we found out that the whole grounds were under construction and there were no working bathrooms or showers. The

Started out great with great neighbors. I had my Trump flag hung proudly on the side of my rig for 2 days with no problems. In fact, 90-95% of people gave us thumbs ups or waves. Then on the third day, one person was offended and "afraid" of me and my friend because of our Trump flag. We are both over 40 years old, mind you. Management came over and pressured us to take our flag down because she "didn't want us to get attacked." So who exactly should be afraid?? Next time I'll go to a place that respects our constitutional rights of free speech!!!

Very rustic sites if in/not in full hook-up section, with not much tree cover for shade. We asked not to be in the "campfire" section in the entry (essentially a parking lot) & they did not read our notes. Originally put us in site #2 in the campfire area wedged between the office & the parking lot where you enter the park. We asked to be moved to another site in back because we did not care about full hook ups. After much deliberation, they did accommodate us.

A favorite among campgrounds. You could not ask for a better location with Bear Valley within walking distance and Point Reyes Station for food, drink, and seaside culture. Camp sites are spread out for good social distancing and staff is mindful about covid precautions and cleaning.

I was there during the Woodward fire. Management was on top of updates and communications. Luckily, there was never an evacuation order. The normal marine layer came in early morning, but that cleared up quickly and by afternoons the skies were blue and the air fresh to breath. (better than anywhere else in CA)

This is a private campground located very near the national seashore. We did not plan our trip ahead and this was the only place we could find with availability, We got lucky and were the only ones staying in one of the loops for two nights. And...we picked a very beautiful and magical spot, site 12, from their website. Olema does an excellent job of putting space between sites and keeping everyone autonomous and spaced out during Covid and not using a lot of services. The coyotes called across the hills at night.

Nice campground ,friendly staff. Good separation between RV sites and Tent sites. The RV dump station needs a little revamping which can get a little muddy. They need to do a little gravel and cement work to help prevent Dump station users from walking into the mucky mud. Great location which is close to Point Reyes. We definitely enjoyed our relaxing stay.

I wish Yelp would create a "less than zero" rating because there are a few select businesses richly deserving of such.

We reserved what we thought was a "50-amp, full hook-up" site a month out.

After a roughly 250-mile journey in our motorhome, we arrived last night to a dodgy "30-amp, no sewer hook-up, and definitely no-apology and no-refund" site instead. They would send the honey wagon around to drain the black/gray tanks, however. For $15.

I spoke to the manager just now, Gabby. She offered a full-refund--to hit the road. Yes, I'm sure we'd find lots

There are definitely better campsites for the price they are charging here. The tent campsites are very close to each other. Not all of them have fire pits. Yes, RACCOONS RACCOONS RACCOONS that will swarm your campsite and make tons of noise as soon as you go to bed. All in all, not the best camping experience. Bodega Dunes campground blows this away.

2 1/2 stars if I could. Potentially a very nice campground as some of the spaces were far apart. Great location, close to many nice Nor Cal areas! This campground has many pull-in/head-in sites, so you end up door to door with campers you may not want to face. And they have very few sewer hookups. Dog friendly is a plus.

Beware as this campground can be overrun with youth groups of up to 150 kids spread out in the tent areas! Don't they have kids group camps they can go to? Not that families should not camp here but the NOISE level was ridiculous. 15 kids in the bathrooms at a time....

I really enjoyed the location of the campground as it was central the Pt. Reyes National seashore. I have a14' trailer and picked a nice spot to easily pull in to that provided water and power. The park was clean and had the added benefit of having a dog run. It's a great way to meet other campers and learn when they are traveling from and to. Check in was easy and they honored my Good Sam discount. Fortunately I stayed during the week and it was not full. The campsites are angled so your not right next to your neighbor which gave a little privacy but they are close to each other. Bathrooms

Saw someone commented that it's the Costco of camping LOL. It's quite accurate!

It's right next to the small town of Olema. Easy to find and easy to access. They have the smallest and the most crowded campground. Once you enter you feel like you entered a zoo. You will go pass the RV site which is packed. And come to a field full of tents and people and dogs and kids. You will find your tiny little site and you will have to be very careful not to set up your tent on your neighbor's site. You will have to be super quiet at night since people are so crowded and they could hear

~THE COSTCO OF CAMPING~ The 1 and 2 star Yelpers are right about this place. They DO NOT enforce quiet time. If you want to drink, SHOUT, pillage and rage without interruptions, then you will find your people here.

Our experience was horrible and unfortunately we left the next day!
Olema campground, if you are reading this, we booked Fir # 226 for 8/3/18 & 8/4/18 and left 8/4 instead of 8/5 because of the drunken madness.
The party goes occupied #222 - 219. There were about 15 - 20 of them all in their 20's blaring Rap music and shouting until 2am. More and more cars came in the middle

Each of us has a different perspective when viewing a restaurant, business or campground. To the person who complained about pricing and services... my experience after coming from Wright's Beach (Bodega Bay)...where I was 9 feet from campers on either side, no water, no power, no services for the same price as here.

Stayed here two nights during the unseasonably warm February 9th 2018 for a mid-winter getaway. I was looking for some sunshine, warm temps and the ocean surf ... luckily i found it along the Sonoma Coast and Point Reyes.

Packed the van with food, wine, some books...and a full
