Smartphone linked hearing aids are innovative, cutting edge technology that is advancing user experience for every hearing aid wearer. How does it work? Hearing aids that connect to your smartphone allow you to control many facets of your hearing aids, such as volume levels, as well as deliver audio from your TV, phone calls, and music directly through the hearing aids.

The hearing test was created as a medical model to differentiate between various disorders of the ear. It aids us in determining the type of treatment which would be most beneficial to the patient. There are two parts to the hearing test, Speech testing and Pure-Tone testing.
The speech portion gives us information about how loud speech has to be before the patient can hear it and how well the person can understand once speech is made loud enough.Pure-Tones tell us how sensitive the ear is to various frequencies. The open platform design of today's Hearing aids allows us to fit the "person" not just the 'hearing loss'.

The newest hearing aids are called either Receiver-In-The- Ear (RIE) or Receiver in the canal (RIC). These aids fit discreetly behind the ear and have a small receiver or speaker in the ear. The receiver is attached to the aid by a thin wire. For those wanting a more traditional hearing aid, we offer custom in the canal and the new IIC which is a deep insertion aid that is almost completely invisible.

David Mize is very professional . He helped me make the right choice about which Hearing aid i needed. David is always nice and patient he answers the question really good . They have easy parking with a wheel chair ramp right up to the front door. They have clean rest rooms and clean waiting room . I never have to wait very long when i arrive at my appointment time . He has worked with me to fine tune the hearing aids to work for my own personal applications . I do recommend him . On a side note i have never worked with his associate but the other people she sees seem to be well pleased with her
