Cottage Cuttings is a locally owned retail nursery. We did not initially set out to open a nursery. Our love of unique and hard to find plants took on a life of its own. We began rooting cuttings of unusual plants we wanted more of. As we pruned our new "babies", we couldn't just throw away more potential plants, so we stuck those in the rooting bed as well.
Soon we had far more plants than we needed. We shared these plants with friends. As word spread, we began selling our cuttings at the local Farmer's Market. After many customer requests, Cottage Cuttings was born. Thanks to all of our wonderful customers, we now get to play in the dirt for a living!

Services
We carry a large selection of annuals, perrenials, herbs, vegetables, fruit trees, shrubs, tropicals, ornamental and shade trees. As our customers from the Farmer's Market know, we like to give out information sheets on the plants we sell. When we grow or get new plants, we write information sheets as soon as we can.
Mow lawn to help eliminate weeds. Keep weeds cut back to prevent flowering and re-seeding. Fill bare patches with St. Augustine sod. Apply lawn food after three mowings. At this time the grass will be actively growing and it is a good time to apply Micro Life or other lawn fertilizer. Plant tomatoes by the middle of the month for a spring harvest.

Debbie does not advertise her wedding arrangements artistry, but perhaps she needs to consider doing so. She agreed (through a family connection) to create bouquets and centerpieces for my daughter’s wedding and boy did she blow everyone away with the result! Even if you can’t convince her to do the same for you, consider visiting her nursery to see a wide variety of unique plants.
