Services
We employ nearly 100 staff members. We aim to provide jobs to Haitians so they can support their families and their community. In addition, there are three staff members serving in our stateside office. At Danita's Children we have a shared vision and are thankful for our devoted staff who selflessly pour out their lives for each of our children.
Danita Estrella Watts is founder and President of Danita's Children Hope for Haiti Children's Center in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. When Danita was 11 years old, her father took her to Haiti on a mission trip. She never dreamt that 25 years later, she would pack her bags and move to Haiti by herself with nothing but a promise from God: "Go and I will be with you."
Danita Estrella Watts is founder and CEO of Danita's Children Hope for Haiti Children's Center in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. The feeding of one child in 1999 led to Danita founding an organization that now provides 16,000 meals each month, a pre-K to 12 School that educates over 330 children, and a children's Medical Center that provides excellent pediatric care to the northeast region of Haiti.
