Faith Community Pharmacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable pharmacy located in Florence, KY. Faith Community Pharmacy was founded in 2002 as the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy by two local pharmacists, Mary Beth Beimesch and Rosana Aydt who saw there was a need for prescription help throughout Northern Kentucky.
The pharmacy service area consists of the 14 counties of the Diocese of Covington. Our formulary targets chronic disease states, such as diabetes, cardiovascular illnesses, COPD, asthma, mental health, GI/GU and rheumatology. The pharmacy is prohibited by law from dispensing controlled substances. Our goal is to ensure that no one in Northern Kentucky goes without needed medication do to affordability.

Services
Matthew's message is one we live by every day at Faith Community Pharmacy: to bring health to the sick in our own community by enabling access to lifesaving medications. Your contributions ensure that no one in Northern Kentucky has to make the choice between housing and food versus lifesaving medications because they can't afford them.
Faith Community Pharmacy, Inc. has served the Northern Kentucky region for over 18 years. Since dispensing our very first prescription in 2002, we have served more than 7,500 clients and dispensed over 550,000 prescriptions. We are often times the safety net and advocate for our clients when there health is in jeopardy.
At Faith Community Pharmacy, we realize that many in our region who need our assistance, might also struggle with transportation challenges or live far away from our pharmacy in Florence. Because of this, we offer clients the option of picking up their prescriptions at our Florence office, or having them delivered to their homes.
For 2021, we are happy to expand our sponsorship levels and opportunities to bring maximum benefit to our sponsors and to provide options for everyone, at numerous financial levels. Our fundraising events are crucial to our bottom line. The monies raised from these events allow us to operate our program and provide vital pharmaceutical care to those who are struggling in the Northern Kentucky region. We know that there are hundreds of events each year that support a variety of worthy causes so we strive to make our events as fun and relaxed as possible.

I had a 1 month rotation at Faith Community Pharmacy and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. Not only is there pharmacists top notch, but there management and staff are amazing as well. They provide amazing services and medications to the undeserved population. However, they do so in a manner that also provides those people the respect that they deserve. It was an honor helping them during my final year of pharmacy school and I look forward to the opportunity to volunteer for them one day.
