Our rural health family practice clinic cares for people of all ages and is open Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our public health department promotes healthy behaviors in our community and coordinates WIC, family health, school nursing, child/teen check-ups, foot and blood pressure clinics and influenza vaccination clinics. Our long-term care and assisted residential community give area seniors a place to call home.

CHI LakeWood Health provides long-term care, family practice-clinic, critical-access hospital, public health and assisted living services. As a Catholic non-profit organization, LakeWood Health is located in Baudette, Minnesota, and is owned and operated by CommonSpirit Health.

The LakeWood Regional Healthcare Foundation was established in 1997 to pursue a $500,000 capital fundraising campaign for the design and development of a new hospital and care center facility to be attached to the existing health care facility.

This campaign was the most ambitious public fundraising effort ever undertaken in the then 49-year history of CHI LakeWood Health and had the largest dollar goal sought by a not-for-profit organization in Lake of The Woods County.LakeWood Regional Healthcare Foundation was created as a 501 c3 corporation, which ensured that all money raised by the community would stay in the community.

A virtual visit is an appointment with your provider during which live video is used. All aspects and quality of the visit are similar to an in-person visit, except you don't have to commute to the clinic. Virtual visits are offered for your convenience.
