Your child may start as early as two-years-old, and progress through to advanced ballet instruction! We pride ourselves in providing exceptional dance education through fostering structured ballet-based technical training.

Services
With only five original students, Riverwalk Youth Ballet opened its doors in Jacksonville, NC in the fall of 2017. Our studio has grown tremendously in the past few seasons, and was voted Jacksonville's "Best of the Best" for dance studios for 2019. Riverwalk Youth Ballet strives to provide outstanding dance instruction based on a solid foundation of classical ballet.
An introductory dance class for 2 and 3 year olds designed to allow children to discover fundamental body movements and directional commands necessary to set the foundation for beginning ballet technique. In creative movement we begin exploring rhythms and beats in music, as well as introduce basic ballet vocabulary.

This first impression when you walk into this amazing dance studio is that it is absolutely beautiful!!! However, that’s not even close to being all. It is extremely professional, and the caliber of the instructors is unmatched. Not only are they the best of the best, but they are wonderful people who deeply care about the students.

We are beyond pleased with our decision to enroll our daughter. She is able to grow and thrive. The teachers not only care for the students, they are highly educated and experienced. We are receiving the best training for our soon to be teen. Our daughter is so happy to dance with Riverwalk Youth Ballet.

Riverwalk Youth Ballet is simply amazing! The quality of teachers with their experience, knowledge base, and schooling is par none! Best qualified teachers in the whole area. I cannot stress the importance of this and they deliver and more. This studio goes above and beyond in the care for their students that prepares them to go beyond just competition and stopping at high school when they graduate - to the next level of performance, and preparing them to dance at a professional level. Highly Recommend!!!

Best studio hands down! Not only is the studio space gorgeous, all of the instructors are amazing. I love having my girls learning from top notch professionals within the dance community. After dancing at another facility for 5 years, I was anxious and nervous to try something new. The staff and girls here, have made the transition so easy. They have been so welcoming and so sweet. Not to mention, the instructors are amazing!!! My daughter has learned so much already and I can’t wait to see what this year brings. I’m so happy with the decision we’ve made to join this professional dance studio.
