At Vandalia Performing Arts Center, our mission is to provide a positive learning environment for children to develop a love of the arts. We offer classes in multiple styles of dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics There are programs for recreational students, as well as those looking for increased opportunities for performance and competition through our team programs.
Mommy and Me classes are available for children as young as 18 months old. Our staff is experienced, professional, and knowledgeable, but most importantly, loves working with children. Our curriculum is designed to develop the full potential of each student, regardless of prior dance experience. We are committed to teaching our students using age appropriate music and dance styles in a wholesome environment.

Services
Classes may be added, cancelled or rescheduled based on enrollment. The third child will receive a 20% discount and the fourth child or more will receive a 30 % off discount. Our after school program meets every school day, after school until 5:15. Students receive a snack and drink every day, and play games, make crafts, and receive homework help if needed.
This dance style combines the techniques and movements of dance with tumbling, contortion and partner tricks. There is a heavy emphasis on flexiblity in this class. Introduces the basic techniques of ballet in a fun, friendly and age appropriate environment. This class will introduce and improve all aspects of cheerleading including tumbling, stunts, jumps, cheers, motions, and routines.
