We had an amazing private hop-on tour this week to celebrate a birthday! Pete was our driver and made amazing suggestions, dealt with our music choices incredibly well, and made us feel so welcome on the bus. We had the perfect amount of time at each location and the drives in between were just as enjoyable. We loved the selection of stops to pick from and really felt like we couldn’t go wrong with any of them! Thank you Pete and Hop On for a wonderful day and start to the holiday break!!

We took a private group tour and had the most amazing experience. Our driver was very friendly and flexible and told us it was "our trip" so we could stay as long or as little at each location as we liked. She waited in the parking lot and we'd call her whenever we were ready to be picked up. We were able to squeeze 3 different Crozet vineyards and breweries into our 5 hour itinerary--you just have to keep track of time (bottle sales rather than waiter service is a must)! Overall, I would highly recommend going the private tour route if you have a large group.

We had Pete as our driver this weekend for a bachelorette party -- he was the best! He even made recommendations to alter our stops by offering up more fun places to stop at. He was personable and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to check out some breweries / wineries in the Charlottesville area.

We have been on two tours with them and both experiences were wonderful. The first one we did was pre-covid and it was the 151 extended tour. Second was recently and it was the Barboursville tour. Both times the tour was awesome they pick you up and drop you off at the named tour locations. The bus has water, snacks and charging stations for your phones. They also have baskets under your seats so you can maintain your belongings during your tour. I highly recommend and will book another tour for future visits!

I have done two Cville Hop On Tours now and each one was great. In particular, Randy was a fantastic driver and made sure that we had tables at some of the busier places so that we did not need to wait in line and loose time on our tour. This is a well run, professional business and I would highly recommend any of their tours to family and friends. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

Hop On is hands down the best wine/brewery tour service I’ve ever used! We had a private 14 person van that included awesome tunes, great complimentary snacks and water, and a fantastic (and funny) driver, Steve! From the administrative side to the pick up/drop off and of course the time on board the Hop On, Steve and his team were accommodating, timely, professional, fun and their recommendations for 3 vineyards were on point! The Cville Hop On Tours is quite an experience and can be as chill or as fun as you want it to be. I visited Charlottesville recently with a few girlfriends and we decided we wanted to visit a few wineries. Since driving wasn't an option we were referred to Cville Hop on so we could get the most out of our day. We opted for the Crozet Hop on Tour, which runs from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm. Since we were a group of 6 we got picked up from our hotel! Score! Our bus had a bachelorette party and a birthday part on board, so it was one of the larger buses. Awesome time! We did a 4 tour - route 151 for my sisters birthday and it was a great experience! Got to pick 4 different stops (wineries, cideries, distilleries, breweries). If you stay at certain hotels you can even get dropped off and picked up there! Our driver was Eric and was great! Bus had coozies, waters, snacks, and a charger station, and WiFi! Anything you could ever need! Would highly recommend!

My husband and I used this service to go see some vineyards in Afton Valley today and let me tell you, it was UNREAL. What an awesome way to see the wineries.
John, the driver, was beyond knowledgeable, so nice and fun, and had the CUTEST puppy with him.
The music on the bus was upbeat and kept the mood going and there was WiFi and snacks and chargers! He even provided baskets under your seats for any purchases (when you got out and went to other places) and had cold waters waiting for us when we got back. While looking to plan a girls day in C'ville, an ad came up for Hop-On and Hop-Off, and mann....I'm so glad I clicked. Their website is so easy to navigate, and I was quickly able to identify and book a 3 stop tour. Fast forward to the day of...and my friend and I show up bright eyed and bushy tailed at the IX Art Park. After a quick look, and not finding my name, I pulled up my confirmation. And I had booked the wrong day. Insert world crashing down.

Finally getting around to giving Cville Hop on Tours the recognition it deserves after going to visit Charlottesville for the weekend for my wife's birthday back in March! We've been to Cville before and went to different wineries on our own. But with Hop On you have your own personal Designated Driver. They will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel if you are close enough to where the Tour starts. Let's just say, could not have asked for a better experience!!! From beginning to end we enjoyed every minute of our tour.
