Our solid wood furniture is made in B.C., Ontario and Quebec and is built to order. In business for over 30 years Creative Home Furnishings has been providing Canadian made furniture to clients who seek quality, function and versatility. Our offerings range from solid wood furniture, to upholstered sofas, chairs and beds to contemporary pieces that incorporate mixed materials such as steel and wood or glass.
Solid wood dining tables: Each of the tables shown comes in a variety of finishes. Our solid wood tables are predominantly built from maple, oak or pine. There are selections of sizes and leaf options with every style. Many of the leafs will store inside the dining table. In some cases, customization is available.
We have Over 200 Designs of dining seating - whether dining chairs, armchairs or benches - to choose from. Solid wood Dining Chairs: These are all built to order in Canada, in a range of stain finishes. The chairs can either be made in solid wood, or upholstered in a wide selection of fabrics. Many styles come with an armchair option and come in Pub and Counter height versions.
Our servers and wine cabinets are predominantly made of maple, oak and cherry woods: all built to order, using solid wood. The designs range from small contemporary condo sizes to large traditional buffet and hutch styles. In many cases, some customization is available with our servers. All dimensions shown are within 1/4 due to the seasonal effects on wood and the nature of handmade furniture.
Solid wood bed frames: Our solid wood beds are locally made, and come in a variety of stain finishes. In many cases, there is a selection of headboard and footboard heights. Several of our headboards also have the option of a wood, upholstered or leather panel. All dimensions shown are within 1/4 due to the seasonal effects on wood and the nature of handmade furniture.

After several weeks of searching for a new sofa, we came into Creative Home Furnishings and got a few ideas. After a couple weeks pass by we are finally ready to make our purchase, a locally made Stylus sectional. The price was a bit better than other places we checked out that sold Stylus. We mainly worked with Garreth, who seemed to be still a little new as he had to go to the boss for some of our questions. No big deal because I'd rather him do that than give us incorrect information. After we we decided on fabric, we were told that the fabric might potentially be on back order. Sure enough

I have had nothing but 5 star experiences with Maria at Creative Furniture when it comes product satisfaction and customer care. While arranging for the delivery of four living room tables I am came to learn that the Coquitlam store co-ordinates all deliveries. I dealt with Ingrid who was terrific. She encouraged me to come to the store to inspect my tables prior to delivery yet I declined(that's the level of confidence I have in Creative). Unsolicited she then sent me pictures of the four tables. She first, and then later the delivery person, confirmed the delivery details and the actual

Finished product not as expected: warped table tops and wrong colour.
We were excited to find a place that made custom solid wood pieces, and locally! Unfortunately, we are sadly disappointed with our experience here.
When we sat in the showroom and discussed with the salesperson the design of the coffee and end tables, we sat down on the display couch which is the same model as we have in our home. We specified that we were ordering the tables to match the couch and said that our couch legs were espresso (as per their couch on display).
The salesperson wrote espresso on the order; however
