It is our goal to create a friendly and professional atmosphere that you can rely on for all of your eye health needs.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
Here at Mayville Vision Center, we love meeting new patients. Part of easing your concerns is explaining what you can expect from our practice. When you are new to our office, we put in the effort to provide you with a positive and comforting experience. On average, we recommend scheduling an appointment once every two years to ensure your eyes are remaining healthy. If you have been diagnosed with an eye condition, however, we recommend scheduling an appointment once or twice a year depending on the severity. During your appointment, we will review your patient history, visual acuity, perform preliminary tests, and evaluate your eyes' overall health.
Here at Mayville Vision Center, we offer contact lens examinations. Nowadays, most people prefer to wear contacts instead of glasses. If you are interested in contact lenses, please let your eye doctor know prior to your appointment. During your exam, we will discuss the various contact lenses available and determine the best option based on your individual needs and lifestyle.

I have needed vision care my entire life and I am an every day contact lens wearer. I recently started going to Mayville vision and upon my first visit I had the eye exam, and knew I needed to pick out glasses so I could transition from contacts to glasses from time to time. In the past my glasses made my eyes look two different sizes because of the strength in one of my eyes. This was the reason I steered clear from glasses for too long. The staff at Mayville vision adjusted my prescription a hair to hopefully give me the confidence to wear glasses - a little lower so the magnification wouldn

I had been to Mayville Vision for 2 pairs of glasses now...and I will NOT be going back. My first experience, no problems what so ever. This was not the case with my most recent visit.
I had my exam done like normal every 2 years. I’m pretty sure the doctor was in a rush to leave for the day because I was the last one there and she left immediately after my exam was done. I picked out some new frames they had in the store but I didn’t care for the army green color. The woman helping me said they could order them in black or gun metal. I chose the gun metal and 2 weeks later my glasses were

I have gone to Mayville Vision for many years, and I'm very disappointed in the new staff. In my experience, the doctor is and has always been a lovely person, but she was the only member of the staff wearing a mask. I don't appreciate having two people breathing in my face and telling me it's okay to take off my own mask to try on frames, especially if I'm the only person in the room wearing one! If you aren't going to mask up, you need to tell me that when I call to make my appointment. Extremely inconsiderate.

I called there office to ask a question about contact lenses and the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude. After she put me on hold, she came back and spewed the answers to me very quickly and then abruptly hung the phone up on me. They should seriously consider who they have answering the phones if they want to keep any of their patients.

Ever since the staff changed entirely this has been the most miserable customer service I’ve ever received in my entire life. I had an appt scheduled (which I had made a month ago) and the day of I found out they were closed. Not because they called to let me know, but because I got all the way to the clinic to see the door locked and a “sorry for the inconvenience” sign on the door. They couldn’t even call to reschedule with me or at the very least let me know that they needed to close that day. Then they didn’t even have the courtesy to call me back to reschedule when they opened back

4.5 Stars. They provide a much better comprehensive eye exam compared to cheap optical stores. The Doctor was friendly and professional. I did not purchase glasses there because they did not take my insurance, but the exam was covered. The only reason Mayville Vision Center did not get a 5 star review, was because when I asked for my pupuillary distance, told me it would be a $20 charge. They said that's not part of the prescription, although wherever I get my glasses will measure that. Very satisfied overall. MPL
