Tom Sack and Scott Shearon have worked together since their days (1985) as officers of Chase Trans Info (a wholly owned subsidiary of The Chase Manhattan Bank). We invested together to buy Chase Trans Info from The Chase Manhattan Bank in 1989. After successfully growing CTI Logistics, we presided over the sale of CTI Logistics in 1994.

In 1995 we formed Virtual Transportation Management Inc. (VTM). We have staff that has been with us through important industry developments, such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Electronic Rating, Cloud Dashboards, Document Imaging, Online Reject Resolution & Foreign Currency Payments, just to name a few.
Services
VTM builds cost effective, custom controls supported with custom reports and bespoke analytics. VTM utilizes Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for 90%+ of data collected. We support industry standard data sets and carrier specific data sets. When EDI is not a viable option, VTM will digitize and verify paper invoices.
VTM compliance reporting compares inbound carrier of record to the routing guide (preferred carrier) utilizing our rating and reporting modules of TRANSWARE. Premium freight spend is identified by shipment and vendor for our customer usage. VTM builds a secure, cloud Vendor Routing Guide to reduce and eliminate future premium freight spend by our customer.
