I make good money and also was at a point where I couldn't get ahead. I believe in paying my debts but the amount I had in monthly payments were overwhelming for me financially. Stacie recommended bankruptcy as an option to me and it was the best thing I ever did. I filed bankruptcy 1 1/2 years ago. I still have to pay my debt but its one payment drastically reduced. It was the most freeing thing and since then my financial situation has done a 180. I've been able to save money, all my bills are paid on time, I have no issues with my finances at all. At the 2 year mark I will start the credit score
