F9 is a principled based firm, nine principles in fact. Just as a great design cannot stand on a weak foundation, a good firm cannot be built without a strong foundation. Recognized worldwide, F9 Productions has been publicized and won awards both internationally and here in the United States. Their designs are excellent, their responsiveness is unparalleled to the competition, and their plans are extremely detailed for a smooth build.
Founding our firm in our mid-twenties, we had to be more professional, quicker, and to over deliver compared to our competitors. From there we created a principled firm where every new employee not only learns design, construction, and advanced computer programs, but learns how to respond to client's needs on time, prioritize problems, and boil them down to their fundamental roots to deliver value and substance.
Over 15 years ago Ben Horowitz wrote "Good Project Manager/Bad Project Manager" as a training document. We have adapted his concept to create "Good Architect | Bad Architect" as a guide for our firm. Good architects know the scope and process of the project. They clearly lay out who is involved and what entities they need approval from.
While designing, F9 is conscious of optimal construction methods that will reduce on site construction waste and material consumption. For instance, if you design a foundation or wood framed wall length to 2' increments, then there will be less waste of OSB or Plywood sheathing because these products are purchased in 2' increments.
Inside the Firm is a raw look into the inner workings of an Architecture firm. Posted every Friday afternoon principles and host, Alex Gore and Lance Cayko, dive into the nitty gritty issues of how to start, run, and maintain your firm. Hands down one of the top two architecture podcast in the world.

We worked with Lance and Alex to design our dream mountain home... and they did not disappoint!

Right from the beginning their communication and pricing was very transparent, and they worked with us closely each step of the way to design something that surpassed all expectations.

They made everything from the site visit, working with the HOA, to designing extremely seamless. If I ever have architectural needs in the future I would strongly consider working with them again, as well as recommend this firm to all my friends and family in the Denver area.

We hired Alex Gore from F9 to design our dream home in the mountains. Alex patiently listened to our top priorities in design and then provided wonderful ideas that spoke directly to those priorities. He also pointed out issues we might not have thought of and suggestions to reduce costs and waste. As owner builders, Alex was great at answering questions that a contractor would already know as well as providing insight into the construction process based upon his own experience on job sites. As our home is off the grid, Alex was great at working with a variety of other engineers/designers to ensure

F9 Productions is an outstanding full-service architectural firm. We hired Alex Gore and his firm to be our lead architectural and structural engineering partner in the design and development of our custom home. This included a detailed and laborious HOA review process with an architectural design committee (including architects from top firms in Denver/Boulder) that required a professional architectural team, structural team, build team, landscape team, etc. And that required a multi-month review process to evaluate every detail of the plans/house from surveying and exterior design, to elevations
