Was greeted by a maskless receptionist who led me into a waiting room past another maskless technician. I asked if they didn’t wear masks and the receptionist said no and I could take mine off. I immediately left and cancelled my consultation. Definitely not professional or respectful of health protocols in place. Don’t trust they would follow other health guidelines.

My experience at South Coast MedSpa has been wonderful. They are extremely professional and friendly. I have used other companies for laser hair removal in the past and none compared when it comes to the costumer service and more importantly the results. Within a few sessions the different was astonishing. The physician used multiple methods to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. I would definitely recommend them.

I've had 3 sessions of laser hair removal done here and the service was alright but overpriced. That was my mistake for choosing the first place I saw and not researching other medspas (I pay less than half of what I did here for the same services elsewhere). My biggest disappointment comes from their parking situation. They claim it's free for the first hour but when you scan your parking ticket to leave, it always asks you to pay. On top of that the attendants give you a hard time and accuse you of lying when you tell them you've only been at the medspa for 15 minutes. I'm

Really glad I found this place! The staff is very nice & my treatments immediately gave me positive results. Getting laser hair removal is much easier than I expected it to be, but it's even more helpful that they use cold air at the same time to make the experience more comfortable. I often don't feel anything at all. Can't wait for the final results!

Such a great experience here! Everyone is so friendly and professional. I love the extra reminders for upcoming appointments because I am prone to forgetting everything. I did acne scar removal treatment, which costed me about $5000, 4 laser resurfacing plus plasma treatment. It's almost same amount of having a cosmetic surgery done. For the cost, the result is not so satisfying. They said, it's due to age and genetics after my treatment was finished. Their website mention, "* Individual results may vary and results are not guaranteed. Patient photos courtesy of South Coast MedSpa unless otherwise stated." So, if you are in your 50's and genetically not so suited for the treatment, I recommend not doing the treatment. I think it's better to go see cosmetic surgeon

SouthCoast MedSpa is top notch! They are professional and cordial but also without losing their personal touch. This place is super busy with loyal patients but they manage their schedule well and have always started on time with all the services I’ve had so far. They maintain their paperwork to the T and text reminders are always prompt and helpful. Everyone pitches in and gives you attention while you’re being prepped for your treatment and they regularly check in on you after every treatment. I came here for laser hair removal. The staff was always very sweet and caring, and they do their best to make my experience the least painful. I am lucky to be born with light skin and dark hair, so laser worked wonder on me. A minor issue is that when you come to your laser session, you need to be freshly shaven. For this reason, it could be hard to determine where your hair actually grows if the stubbles aren't very obvious, so I've always had a certain spot that has been missed. It is hard to address this issue at appointments since they cannot see it. Overall still a good experience

I'm so disappointed. This place was highly recommended by my friends but after they messed up my appointments and I moved they were unable to refund my services. My disappointment further grew when they could not take responsibility for their errors and instead tried blaming it on COVID and then their messaging system, then tried throwing free services at me.
I disputed this with my credit card company which informed me today that unfortunately the services are non refundable. I will now have to travel round trip one hour to this facility to do my services. Please be wary of paying in full

Omg I just left my first laser hair removal appointment and I am so impressed! In the past I underwent 2 years of laser hair removal working with a different company in LA and the difference is night and day! The laser they use at Southcoast is so gentle and painless I was speechless-in LA I could barely tolerate the treatments even when using numbing cream! Stephanie was so gentle (and nice and informative) I could've fallen asleep lol! Obviously it's too early to see the results but the experience was 5 starts for sure! Highly recommended!

I had an ok experience. Everyone is very friendly here. I came in for a consultation about 9 months ago. I wanted a real consultation but was talked to by a sale consultant. She recommended me two things, a filler (Bella) and laser for red marks. I paid around 2,000 that day and made an appointment. I had 3 appointments total and I can say my skin got maybe 20% better, the redness lowered. But the filler did nothing for me, my scars are so visible still

They moved their location 2 miles from where it was right off the 805, easy on and off. Now it's complicated to get to with tons of construction going on. When I got to the new location, it was a paid parking lot, which the previous location didn't have.

So what initially started out as me just going with a friend for support, ended with me getting a free laser treatment and purchasing a package. The staff were amazingly engaging and super helpful, my PA (Michelle) was so warm and knowledgeable, very thorough and explained everything in detail before starting the process, and had impeccable customer service. After paying for a starting the suggested treatment for Melasma on my forehead and cheeks. The laser used was to be in San Diego once a month, however I have been told the laser machine not becoming back to San Diego at all.

If you're looking for a place to get rid of your unwanted acne scars and sun spots. Or even botox and filler done, you should definitely come to SCMS! I've had various treatments done here with Mandi and have left always wanting more. The staff has always made me feel comfortable and educated on which ever treatment I am getting done that day. This is an update. I received a call from South Coast manager, Erin. She apologized that no one responded to my emails (email recipient is no longer with them). I appreciated the call.
She also told me that in the interim they will be borrowing the machine that worked on me from the Newport Beach location and they can schedule treatments on Wednesdays until such time that they have their own machine. I am scheduled to see them mid next month.
I will post another update once the treatment(s) are completed and my discolorations disappear.
If I am happy with the results I will give them 5 stars
