Scholle's Towing and Body Shop is a small family operated business that started out providing local towing service in Peru, Illinois back in 1972. We are conveniently located within minutes of both Interstates 80 and 39 allowing us to have fast response times to the entire North Central Illinois area.
Over the past 40 years we have been consistent with providing a fast 24 hour light and heavy duty semi towing service, doing every job professionally, and keeping our rates fair for our customers. By doing this we have built great relationships with local customers, area police departments and trucking companies thru out the entire country.

Committed to providing you excellent service, so you always choose us for your towing needs. For almost everyone, break downs or accidents are not fun or convenient. So, we want to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible for you. We genuinely care about your vehicle and your experience, and it shows.
No matter what the issue, we have the equipment and knowledge to handle any job. Having been a family business for 40 plus years, some of us were able to start learning the recovery side of the towing business at a very young age. On top of having years of hands on experience from working alongside our veteran operators we have also received training from the American Towing & Recovery Institute.
In an accident? Call us! Not only can we tow your car or truck but we can repair it too! We offer collision repair on all makes foreign and domestic. We can work with you or your insurance company to make sure your vehicle gets fixed properly without taking any short cuts, so that your automobile gets back to exactly like it was before.

John was awesome! I called from Wisconsin to help some of our customers stranded on the side of I39 with a truck and 36ft camper. They were there very fast and got them off the road and into a campground and dealership within hours. I can't say enough. Thank you very much Chad. 👍

I had a poor experience here. I came out to see if they could replace parts on my door. They said they would call me back but never did.
I got a new door and called to see if they would take the old one off and put the new one on. Both times I called, an older gentleman with a sarcastic disposition gave me a bad impression of the place.
The second time I called, he was taken aback I had found my own door, and told me, “we don’t do that kind of stuff.” Ladies and gentlemen: A body shop that doesn’t replace doors.
I gave them one extra star because one of the guys was nice.
