Optibike builds our electric bikes at our shop here in Colorado USA, and we customize each bike to fit your riding style and needs. Your rides should be trouble free; we choose the highest quality bicycle components for our bikes, such as Rohloff hubs, FOX forks, and SRAM disc brakes.
You'll still get service and parts years later. We work on our original models sold in 2007 and have replacement parts for all of our bikes. With 1700 watts of continuous motor power, the R17 has plenty of power to get you moving fast, and lets you climb those steep hills in no time at all. It also won't overheat even when climbing in hot weather, meaning you get full performance for your entire ride. 190Nm of Torque will get you up any hill, let you effortlessly climb over ledges and logs, climb a 40% grade, and keeps you moving on rocky trails.
The dropper seat post solves the problem of hitting the seat with your leg while getting on and off the bike. You can lower the seat when arriving at a stop sign and easily rest your feet on the ground. No more jumping off the bike at stop signs. Smaller riders now have an e-bike option with a normal frame design and a large battery for long distance riding.

After riding Optibikes for over 2.5 years I have began to realize how great these bikes are. I have two of them and ride almost everyday (weather permitting) up to around 8k miles per year. The other day I passed two Rad Rovers and said "Rad Rover, Rad Rover, move on over and check out a real ebike" as I passed them standing upright on my pedals and flying by them. I am looking forward to my next purchase from these folks as they build the best ebikes in the world.

Optibike designs and builds super-high end electric bikes in Boulder Colorado where they also have a show floor and service center. Everyone I met was very friendly and I even had the chance to test ride some of their demo bikes! It's a unique company that's been producing since 2006, worth checking out if you're nearby!
