RSI is a three time recipient of the Outstanding Program Award from the Prince George's County Department of Family Services Mental Health Authority Division. RSI has a full complement of trained rehabilitation personnel and support staff who assist clients in daily living skills, crisis management, and counseling.
Services
RSI is a non-profit organization established in 1989 and is dedicated to providing high quality, community-based residential care and services to persons suffering from long-term mental illness. RSI's mission is simple: to empower each and every client to live as independently as possible by assisting them to find opportunities that promote their educational, vocational and emotional growth.
Be a Prince George's County resident who is 18 years or older (16 years for the Transitional Age Youth Program). Have a primary diagnosis of serious mental illness with the exclusion of primary substance abuse; symptoms and documented clinical history that are consistent with the psychiatric diagnosis; impaired functioning resulting from mental illness in at least 3 of the following areas:.
