We are happy to offer a "new old-fashioned" family medicine practice which honors the classic doctor-patient relationship. Back in the day, families had one doctor that they saw for all their basic needs. Direct care is getting back to those roots. We provide medical care directly to you and your family for a reasonable monthly membership fee without requiring insurance for that care.
Easy physician access, relaxed visits, and smaller practice size allow for a more personalized experience. Greater continuity of care leads to better-informed healthcare decisions and more time for preventative care. There are no copays or deductibles and no extra charge for primary care services, tests and medications routinely provided by Dr. Carlson in our office.

Services
Born and raised in northern California, Dr. Carlson graduated magna cum laude from Chico State with degrees in chemistry and psychology. After graduating with High Honors from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, she completed her training to become a rural family physician at U.C. Davis-Merced Family Medicine Residency Program.
We are a Direct Primary Care office. This means that we provide medical services to you without the involvement of insurance companies. We charge a monthly fee in exchange for our services.
In-office tests, treatments and procedures including: EKG, blood oxygen test, urinalysis, stool blood test, blood sugar test, strep test, pregnancy test, flu test, mono test, B12 shots, Toradol shots, antibiotic shots, steroid shots, oxygen, breathing treatments, skin biopsies, joint and bursa injections, cryosurgery, electrosurgical treatments, iontophoresis for hyperhidrosis, ear wax removal, overnight pulse oximetry and more.

I am very pleased by the care Dr Carlson provides for me and my family. She is easy to talk with and listen to my concerns and always gives a return call promptly. I also appreciate Patty and Jon in the office. They all make a great team. Choosing to stay with Dr. Carlson even though I have excellent insurance coverage through my employer is one of the best decisions I've made.
