I called to cancel my service with Vista Energy. PG&E charges very delivery charges and I didn’t see much of a savings. However, after talking with Kathy at Vista Energy, I chose to give them a bit longer with a different rate to see if I see the savings by going with this third party gas company. Although I rated Vista Energy just 3 stars, I WOULD RATE KATHY’S PERFORMANCE 5 STARS !

I originally signed with Vista at a promotional rate, good for two years. I didn't notice for almost a year when the promotion expired. After I noticed, I called Vista to inquire about the uptick in my rate. I spoke with Tiellie. She was extremely patient with my questions and went over my bill with me line-by-line. After I understood the bill, I asked her whether there were any current promotions available to me. She readily informed me about a promotional rate, good for 12 months, that was less than half of my current per-therm cost. She then confirmed my new rate in an email. Thanks to Tiellie

I'm new to California and wasn't really sure all that signing up with Vista Energy entails so I called and spoke with Jacqueline and she was very nice and helpful. She listened to all my questions and answered every one but I want to talk with people who actually have the service and get their likes or dislikes. Thank you

Door to door salesman left out important details an had me under the impression that I was being enrolled into a energy saver program, ended up getting signed into anew flat rate plan with a 3rd party provider. Realized it the next day an called to complain an cancel to go back to PG&E, however, I he lady I talked to, Tiellie was very nice an understanding, cancelled my plan like I asked, didn't give me any grief or try to sell me anything else, which was very nice, I just imagine the door to door people like to bull rush you, I'm sure the service is good for those who need it, but I'm not one

Customer service was great, Chris handled my situation quickly and efficiently, and was polite.
There seemed to be some kind of connection problem or something, though, because it was hard to hear. Like there was interference and I could hear him twice, and it was scratchy. Not his fault of corse, though, and I got through the call easily regardless.

The customer service agent was courteous and understanding when I asked to cancel. Vista energy can be a legit service, but the sales tactic is still questionable at best. The sales person compared their $0.99 per DAY price to my per THERM price as if they were the same. I reviewed my bills again to realize that for my family, it isn't a great deal. But I can totally see that for families with heavy usage or highly fluctuating usage this can be a great service. Vista Energy, you can do better as I see your agent are doing better than other reviews I've read.
