Services
Since 1936, Asphalt Industries has been the area's leader in asphalt services. Based in Chester, PA we service the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas offering Oil & Chip that is commonly seen on country roads and in many of the area's estates that are looking for a unique and durable driveway that provides a remarkable aesthetic appeal to the property.
We offer commercial asphalt services including parking lot installation & resurfacing, crack repairs, and maintenance. We work with municipalities, townships, and state & county offices to provide oil and chip services on secondary roads, crack repairs, resurfacing, and more. Residential services include walkways, driveways, secondary parking areas, resurfacing, and oil and chip installations.
An oil and chip driveway is very similar to standard blacktop in composition. Both types of driveway use asphalt cement as the ingredient which creates adhesion to the aggregate. Blacktop is mixed at a central plant. The asphalt cement completely coats the large, small, and fine pieces of aggregate.
