My husband was there for 3.5 weeks for depression . They did nothing for him , he laid in bed most of the time, Drs were uncaring, a consult consisted of the Dr peeking his head in the room asking how he was. He was tried on one medication. Family was never included in the care team meetings. Social worker and Director of nursing are a joke. They don’t even know their patients or what’s going on with them. I was given wrong information on more than one occasion. This was a waste of 3 weeks

My daughter was there for three and a half weeks and she came home a new person as well. I don't know how they did it but Im so grateful and a happy mom!!! She opened up to them which she hasn't done at any other facility. As for staff they was very honest about her progress. Thank you Tim&Libra!!! Thank you Nurse Lisa for your honesty and being so pleasant everytime I called. God bless yall & may peace be with you!!!

Do not waste your time, this facility can only hurt people. Staff is extremely rude, dishonest and I have never met less experienced people who are not properly trained to be in mental health. Buttonwood is not equipped to be a behavioral health hospital and IS UNSAFE. Their favorite thing to do is to speak to family members even after you request them not too. No visitation allowed even by request. Simply, there is no family therapy or any other therapy at all. This hospital has violated my rights and I am thinking about consulting an attorney.

I was in there for 18 days. I had a great experience! I miss some of the workers that work there as well as some of the other patients that were there with me. I would like to thank Buttonwood staff for the good care I recurved! I learned a lot about dealing with my depression in a positive way. I was in there a year ago in June. On nice days they made it worth being outside and having fun while there. I remember we had a water balloon fight. One balloon popped in my hand as I was getting ready to throw it and I soaked myself because of it. I had a blast! Thank you again to the staff and fellow

Worst facility ever!! All they served was sandwiches for snacks all day. The food is horrible. The fat security guard is petty and rude. The social worker Stephanie is rude and continues to breach confidentiality. The unit is small and drives you crazy with the continue door slamming. The groups are redundant, all of music and art therapy. I personally didn’t learn anything. This place is the worst place I ever been to. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Called back and gave my review and they had to nothing to say.

The mental health system needs to be fixed and people that haven’t gone through similar experiences should NOT work in the mental health field. I understand about COVID, but enough with the co-vid rules, there are other physical and mental health issues that need to be addressed. You got workers there that lie to patients families, and I’m sorry. I’m giving a bad review because I feel like you DESERVE a bad review, and I say that because I didn’t the whole scenario. I am sure there are compassionate people there, just uh yall might be a little blind to it.

My mom was in there for 15 days and said they treated her horrible. And others too. She said a few people were nice. But most of the staff was mean. Everytime I called there to talk to her, or get information, they gave me the run around. Even when I called to ask where to pick her up, they were rude on the phone. My mom said they don't monitor the people there, and it's a dangerous place to be. And they give you medication and don't tell you the side effects.
