I went in with my two friends and we were treated so well! The place was very clean and followed Covid guidelines. My artist was Molly. She was very sweet and helped me through the entire process. Her service from start to finish was top notch. I would definitely recommend this shop whether it's your first tattoo or your hundredth. For sure the best tattoo shop in all of Southern Illinois.

I've gotten 3 tattoos from there all from my #1 tattoo gal pal Dakota Dodds, she is freaking awesome, very professional. She's very nice & cares about the comfort of her costumers & always does her absolute best to make sure her costumers leave happy and satisfied. I absolutely would recommend Dakota for your tattoo needs. I will actually be going back tomorrow for 2 more tattoos plus she's also doing one on my husband tomorrow as well. So she comes highly recommended. 😎

I got a nipple peircings and at tattoo at two different appointments. Molly did my tattoo, she worked with me to make sure I was comfortable. It healed up greatly. The piercer was highly professional and made sure to sanitize everything as much as she could. Those are also healing great. I look forward to getting more art from them.

The Artists are trully artists. Dave did my 2nd tat ever. It's the most visible so far and will be getting the other started soon. Make an appointment and have $20 cash deposit to hold your set appointment. Tuesday-Saturday noon till 8pm have a design in mind or a pic on your phone to text to the artist. Now, DO NOT GO IN AND SAY " I WANT THIS BUT IM ONLY SPENDING THIS!" That is the fastest way to get denied. Seriously good ink is not cheap and it's by the hour. You can do more than 1 sitting.

By far the best shop in Southern Illinois. Matt is the go to guy there for great designs. He has done 2 pieces for me and they turned out amazing. He has his own style of shading and is great with colors. Plus all of his prices are very reasonable for his great work. Will definitely have Matt do all of my tattoos from now on.

Went here wanting a mandala tattoo. I had a very easy thought out idea. All I wanted was a flower mandala with a yin yang in the middle and an om hanging off as a pendant!! Sent many pictures of the type I wanted. Damn near exactly and told him to call, text, or email me at any time! Asked the artist Matt if he had mandala experience. He said he did and could do it with ease. I paid the $20 holding fee and went about my day feeling super confident in his ability. When I came back he had a horrible design that wasn't even close to what I told him I wanted. Took him an hour to try and re design

I was a walk-in for a small heart tattoo on my wrist. Artist was nice and honest with me. He was honest about how experienced he was and what he could and couldn't do. Also warned me about wanting red ink, I should have listened. Tattoo turned out fine but part of it may have healed strange. Still satisfied with my tattoo. I can't speak for getting large piece tattoos here though, sorry.

Worst customer service ever. I was in town visiting relatives and decided to get a tattoo while I was down here. I made an appointment with Dustin over the phone. On the day of my appointment, he told me he couldn't do my tattoo because he had another appointment coming in and wouldn't have time to do mine in time and that I'd have to reschedule. I was in town visiting and did not have time to come back OR reschedule. This place is a joke. Only decent thing about this place is the cute coffin table. Don't waste your time trying to come here like I did. Very unprofessional and

Lauren is my artist, she gave me a personalized back tattoo that I love.
When I came in with a rough draft of what I wanted Lauren drew out an amazing piece that was custom for my back and made all of the changes that I requested.
She is also very fair with prices, never charging for breaks and rounds down on the time since she occasionally has to pause to help walk ins. She is also one of the nicest people I have ever met which is a plus.
I look forward to scheduling my free touch-up.

I had a great experience at Tuff Luck. A friend had recommended I try to get an appointment with Lauren, but her wait time was over a month. But since my tattoo was small, Dustin said he would be able to fit me in the next week. Dustin was a really nice guy with a professional, yet laid-back attitude. The shop is clean and well-lit, and the TVs were playing nature documentaries the whole time which I thought was cute. I got two small pieces on my arm and it was done quickly and for a really fair price. I would definitely recommend this place - just make sure you're prepared to wait a few weeks

These guys are great. I got a tattoo there in 2008, which I still love. I went in with some artwork (a snowflake) and they worked with me to make sure I had the best possible outline before going to town. My tattoo has no black ink, which is awesome. Don't let a shop tell you have have to outline in black. Roger also did a fix on my friend's back. He totally corrected some problems that weren't completely obvious to the untrained eye. But once he pointed them out, the issues became glaring. Not to mention the prices here are fantastic! Or, at least they were three years
