Island Pointe Resort's Little Red Cabins were built over half a century ago and have been lovingly restored to their original rustic charm. These four-walled time machines will transport you back to the vacations of your childhood. Guests are welcomed to cedar plank interiors, wood-burning fireplaces, cozy kitchenettes, outdoor wood decks (most with a lake view) and an intriguing variety of tasteful, rustic cabin dcor.
Island Pointe Resort's Large Cabins offer the same scenic, pine-shaded settings and "up north" style as our red cabins, but on a considerably grander scale. Two levels, multiple bedrooms and spacious kitchens and generously-sized elevated decks make these well-appointed cabins an ideal choice for larger families.
Guests to our Island Pointe Resort Villas/Condos enjoy luxurious lodging with private bedrooms, large kitchens and living areas, screened decks and a setting just a few steps from our generously-sized heated pool. Some units feature scenic vistas of the lake, viewed through the white pines that tower over Island Pointe Resort.
Our cabin rental resort goes far beyond the tangible amenities listed here. We offer a welcome return to an earlier era, when a flip from dad's shoulders made a terrific waterslide; when sugar-sand beaches provided ample play for fertile imaginations; when the only bright light in the evening sky was the beautiful glow of a westering sunset.

We stayed in cabin 10, which I believe is one of the smallest with 1 bedroom (2 queen) n 1 bath with pullout sofa. The sofa appeared to be fairly new and not the same as in website pics, plus tv's are new flatscreens.
We stayed 2 nights July 3rd & 4th. Cabin and gas grill was very clean.
Sitting on front porch had a nice view of the lake. The cabins are situated to allow decent privacy on your deck.
The community was quite and no screaming kids running all over the place if your kids are older like ours...very nice change from the hotels on the main strip. Location makes you feel miles away

It's a quiet resort that's right on the lake, yet not more than 5-10 minutes away from downtown Wisconsin Dells. It's really the best of both worlds. Some of the units are pretty dated depending on where you stay, so if you're looking for newer amenities, be sure to check out the inside of the cabin you're going to rent.

I always enjoy my time at the Island Pointe Resort. My fiance's family owns a cabin there, so we make a few trips to the dells every summer. The grounds are always clean, you can tell the staff works very hard at maintaining a clean and safe environment. There's a nice beach along with other activities (horeshoes, volleyball, and a playground) if being in the water isn't your thing. Overall, the experience at Island Pointe is great!

Homey little cabins in a forest of pine trees. Not too shabby, not too fancy. There are a variety of sizes available and groups are welcome. There is a nice heated pool with a good portion of shallow off to one side for the toddlers. The two sand beaches have plenty of chairs and are clean and well kept. The lake itself is a bit busy with jet skis. There are docks for boats (bring your own bumpers) and the launch is less than a mile away. I loved it. Cozy. Quaint. Great with kids. There is a quiet time enforced, so I don't recommend rowdy groups of adults stay here.
