Yoga Okoboji has more than 60 years of combined teaching experience. We offer a variety of classes and instructors to accommodate all interests and skill levels. Since 2004, our intention at Yoga Okoboji has been to give you the experience you are seeking, whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years.

Services
Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 7 am Yoga on the beautiful shores of West Lake Okoboji at Arnolds Park Amusement Park Boardwalk in front of the ferris wheel (or on the Berkley Bedell Pier). Wednesdays & Fridays @ 7:30 am Yoga at the Okoboji Sailing Center on the lovely west side of West Lake Okoboji. Offered in June, July & August.
We are offering a donation-based Yoga class one time each month to give back to our community and help everyone be well and stay well. Change happens all around us and deep within us. For some, it is profound and obvious, and for others quiet and barely noticeable. Change is the one constant we all experience.
She is an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and YACEP with the Yoga Alliance. Marta has taught over 4000 workshops and classes since 2008. She trained "one on one" with Janine Gustafson and is proud to have been the first yoga teacher she (Janine) trained at Yoga Okoboji.
Marta is also a choreographer, a movement and acting coach and has experience teaching a variety of styles of movement from West African dance to Modern Movement Meditations/ Ecstatic Dance and Shakespeare.Her students have ranged in age from 3 to 103. She wants people to experience the joy of movement and yoga throughout their entire lives.

Michelle is an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) and ACE certified personal and group trainer. Fit to Live Personal Training is her business, through which she offers many services, including private training in the studio or at your home, business, or favorite outdoor space; individual, small, or large group training; and programs designed especially for your individual needs, so you can become FIT TO LIVE.
She was drawn to teach yoga by the sense of connection and gratitude she felt in her own practice. She has been practicing yoga and incorporating its philosophy into her life for 20 plus years. She instantly recognized the numerous healing and transforming benefits yoga has to offer. She brings with her a background as a Registered Nurse/Neonatal Clinician and also as a dance teacher/choreographer.

Yoga Okoboji School of Yoga offers a comprehensive yoga study program that explores a wide range of yoga topics including yoga history and philosophy, anatomy, meditation and breathwork, yoga asana and the yoga Sutras. The instructors allow each trainee to expand their practice and find their own voice based on their interests, while offering exploration of all aspects of yoga. Yoga Okoboji’s yoga study is an enriching experience for anyone that aspires to become a yoga teacher or deepen their yoga practice.
