In the early 1960's, Art Kroetch, founder of Scotchman Industries, started making and selling farm-related products, such as pickup stock racks, corral panels, gates and chutes. In 1966, Scotchman Industries purchased the patent for a hydraulic ironworker, the first machine of its kind in the world, and began manufacturing ironworkers.
Scotchman Industries, Inc. is a leading producer of metal fabrication equipment, accessories, and custom tools. We have a complete line of thirteen different Hydraulic Ironworkers models ranging from 45 tons to 150 tons of punching power. These versatile machines are your Swiss Army Knife for metal fabrication and can be used for punching holes in metal, shearing, bending, tube cutting, and pipe notching.
Ironworkers save time, increase productivity, eliminate waste and create clean smooth cuts and holes. A hydraulic ironworker can be used for punching, shearing, notching, bending and other metal fabrication functions. Scotchman's special tooling department can design custom tools specific to your metal fabricating needs.
Scotchman hydraulic Ironworkers are the most versatile and dependable punching, shearing, and notching machines available today, because of Scotchman's unique component tool table design. These ironworkers will accept a variety of standard tools including press brakes, channel shears, rod shears, tube shears and pipe notchers that are easily interchangable.
Scotchman's line of fully integrated hydraulic ironworkers are popular among fabricators because the punch, flat bar shear, rod shear, rectangle notcher, and the slug-less angle shear are permanently integrated and built into the machine. The DO 8514-20M is a Fully Integrated and Dual Operator ironworker, which allows two operators to work at the same time at full capacity.

I go to this gas station a lot, went in there one day and it was fine, I ended up stopping there a second time with another person and one of the cashiers followed us around the aisles and was staring at us. We did nothing wrong and ended up buying a couple drinks, she even followed us out the door.

I would like to take this time to thank Scotchman Industries for being with us for the past thirty five years. The equipment we have purchased helped us preform many tasks with the best quality of precision that anyone could ever want. Hornswelding always could see the quality of workmanship from the professional staff from Scotchman. It is very rewarding when we can put our trust in the equipment you us to make a living.Scotchman has always been there when we need help. While operating a business, I also used the ironworkers and saws while teaching welding for The San Diego Community College District

Could not be more disappointed with Scotsman industries.
Should have purchased Geka or Edwards iron worker.
Quality of the iron Scotchman worker is lacking. Paint is chipping off of the surface and theirs visible surface rust below the paint. Welds are disappointing, looks lIke some one learned to weld on this product. Should have know better when the local dealer wanted to sell me an Edwards machine rather then a Scotchman. Despite the cost of the Iron worker it does not come manual or any type of training. Want touch up paint for your new new machin? They don’t provide any. You have to spend
