Kara Woods is the owner of Stage To Move, one of the first professional home staging companies in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Kara founded the company in 2008 and has since overseen all of the company's operations. Combining a background in consulting with an innate proclivity for design, Kara maximizes a home's architectural attributes and creates and environment that entices potential buyers.
Kara has been featured on Fox television and in Money Magazine, was named the 2010/11 Professional Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, and was an International TOP 100 Magazine's 2013 staging and design award recipient. We can work with you and your client to manage the tradesmen and complete the job on your timeline as well as with the expert eye of a designer and home staging expert.
Stage To Move will evaluate a vacant or model home and prepare a design plan. The plan will detail the furniture, accessories, and design elements that will appeal to the seller's target market as well as the associated fees. Our exclusive access to multiple showrooms throughout New England translates to the most up-to-date and desired look for your home.
Often our clients tell us that they love the way their homes look after they have been staged-so they want us to help place furniture and accessories in their new homes! We had SUCH a positive experience working with Kara and Audrey at Stage to Move! My organizing team was brought in to help organize items in a mutual clients home prior to sale and the transformation I saw Kara and her team make was like nothing I have seen before! Not only did they make a huge visual transformation in what seemed like no time at all, Kara and her team were some of the nicest people I have worked with.
