Dear Guest: Although we would love to accommodate the increasing amount of visitors who wish to work remotely while camping, as well as those who wish to stream movies and shows, our WIFI is limited in strength and bandwidth. It is usually strong enough for emailing and browsing (sometimes even streaming) but may also drop altogether.
Please do not expect to rely on it for work or entertainment. A perfect base from which to explore the Eagle Cap Wilderness, nestled alongside the Upper Wallowa River in the heart of Wallowa Lake Village, our deluxe RV park has both 30-Amp and 50-Amp sites and offers all the amenities for a memorable get-away.

Services
For those who don't mind sacrificing a little convenience, our River Sites boast some of the best views in the entire Wallowa Lake Village. From your doorstep, watch osprey diving for kokanee, mergansers coming in to land, bald eagles cruising the canyon, and dippers competing with trout for insects.

Host is very friendly and there's deer EVERYWHERE! As for the cabin, it's a great place to disconnect. No internet and the wifi barely reaches. The tv is just for DVDs so bring your own. The cabin is outdated but very clean. We had a great visit with friends and my wife loved the endless hot water for 6 people. Please be aware that you do have to bring your own towels, linens, blankets. And bring hand soap for the bathroom. There is also a discrepancy with the pet policy so just know you cannot have a pet inside the cabin or you will get fined. Thankfully we found this out before we brought our

Very nice small RV park. Most sites had full hook-ups, but you can rent a spot next to the river and dry camp. Some of the full hook-up sites are small, but we were able to maneuver our 40' MH in. It is within walking distance of the lake including the beach and marina. There are plenty of other activities also within walking distance. There are restrooms with showers plus a nice laundry facility in the park. There is plenty of shade, although some of the trees are sappy. Also be sure to use your water pressure regulator as the pressure is over 100. The price is reasonable. I would stay here again

Unfortunately, we were not able to make it to Park at the River due to an illness in the family. We had to cancel our whole trip ending up in Glacier National Park. Park at the River was the only RV campsite that kept our deposit, because we didn’t cancel within a 2 week period. I was able to give 5 days notice, but they had no empathy for our predicament. I understand being charged a cancellation fee, but not the entire deposit. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt it was warranted. So, I’ve learned a good lesson to ask about cancellation policies in advance of making reservations

Park and staff are great. JUST DON’T EVER STAY HERE THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF AUGUST unless you LOVE cigar smokers. The same family rents every year (extended family with many sites) and they smoke cigars outside all evening long, every morning, off and on throughout the day. The smell permeates the whole park and is very obnoxious. Couldn’t sleep with windows open or enjoy much outdoor time to eat, relax or just enjoy the park. The park sits on the river and is quite nice. Full hookups are great. Nice people and very helpful staff. Just won’t ever stay here again during this time frame.

This was a great stay. Staff were "guarding" flower baskets from deer when we arrived. The park was full and spots are small, so not 5 stars, but there is tons to do and see nearby so a great visit. It is pretty here and a walk to the lake at dusk was memorable and peaceful. Putt-putt golf was really fun, cheap and well laid out. The tram across the street is spectacular and Joseph (nice and touristy) is nearby.

Wow, What a great place to relax. We are a few minutes walk from the lake, trail heads, shops and stream with spawning Kokanee. I've spent a lot of time in RV parks and don't need much assistance but appreciate courtesy from the staff. Cal, who checked us in has been an exceptional host and a wealth of local knowledge. Besides a beautiful park, we also had beautiful visitors almost everyday. Up to 11 deer were hanging out a few feet from our door including two nice size bucks. I have already booked a week for next year to make sure we could get in again. Thanks Cal for a great time on our vacation
