I'm Lauren, I'm currently a full time wedding photographer based in Southern California. I'm both an extrovert introvert so most days you can find me staying cozy at home editing away while binge watching some Korean dramas. But when it comes to sessions, weddings or parties, you bet I'll show up and bring the energy to the table.

Lauren is such a talented photographer. I am terrible at posing or looking professional on my own but she always brings out the best looks in our few sessions. We meet at the nicest locations and her editing is amazing. My girlfriend looks fantastic on her own but Lauren always finds her best features and accentuates them.
Rates are subjected to the amount of hours your wedding entails. So in order for us to answer that question properly we need to know more details regarding your wedding! Overview: Part of the OC state park, it is nestled in the city of San Juan Capistrano among the Santa Ana Mountains. This 8,000 acre wilderness preserve is house to many California Oaks and Sycamore trees. Its terrain and vegetation greatly changes depending on the season with Spring bringing out the most luscious wild flowers and green grass.
With so many questions of what to wear and what colors look good, we decided its just easier to show you! Of course you don't have to match exactly to any of these particular sample but we're hoping this may spark some inspiration for your session! My wedding was December 2021 and Lauren was absolutely amazing throughout the day! She was able to use her talented eye to spot the perfect spots for photos, was quick to make adjustments when needed, worked well with my other vendors, and more importantly hyped me up throughout the entire day. I'm a DJ and I worked with Lauren and her team on a wedding at Orcutt Ranch. She and her team are incredibly nice and very easy to work with.
We worked as a team to review the timeline together and made sure we were all prepared whenever a special moment in the wedding was about to happen (ie first dance, toasts, cake cutting, parent dances, etc.). This made my job as the DJ and MC a lot easier when making announcements on the mic for the special moments because I knew her team would be ready to capture those special moments on camera.
Lastly, as said above, Lauren and her team are so so nice

THANK YOU Lauren, for capturing the most beautiful photos on our wedding day! We received 2000+ photos for our wedding day and looking through them, felt like we were reliving our entire special day. Finding a photographer for your wedding day can be pretty stressful. We spoke to several photographers before booking Lauren but after speaking to her, we could just tell she absolutely loves what she does and is extremely talented as well. She was very open and communicative and was able to answer all our questions. We have never taken professional photos before but she made us feel so comfortable during both our engagement session and wedding day. We would highly recommend her for any photography needs!

I hired Lauren for my proposal shoot and it turned out awesome! When I first reached out, Lauren made sure to schedule a consultation to nail down the proposal and how to best capture it. She gave recommendations on timing, where all the attendees would be stationed, and talked through a plan of action of making sure that my girlfriend would be surprised. It was extremely detailed and we discussed many points that I would have never thought about! She also made sure to tell me which way to face my girlfriend so the perfect moment would be captured.

I stumbled upon playful soul photography’s Instagram and absolutely loved Lauren’s light and airy aesthetic. We booked her for our engagement shoot and are super happy with the results. She had great energy and made us feel very comfortable during the shoot. She’s really creative and had us shoot in a variety of poses and locations, which gave us a more dynamic gallery. We hired Lauren for our engagement photos and to be our wedding photographer later this year and she is so amazing!!
