American Engraving was founded in 1991 by Thomas Magarian and Michael Gioia, two talented entrepreneurs who shared a passion for engineering. Together they gave the company its start out of Addison, Illinois and specialized in tool and die manufacturing for the Bakery & Snack Foods markets.
During the next 17 years American Engraving grew in great strides to become one of the leading suppliers of rotary products to the largest names in the Baking Industry.In early 2008 Stu Kriegermeier, a recognized and established name in the die roll industry, joined American Engraving as Tom Magarian's new partner.

American Engraving offers a wide variety of services from the manufacturing of dies rolls to the repairs, replacement, and re-coating of existing dies from any manufacturer. We can reverse engineer any design on any die roll sent to our facility. We offer both 2D/3D design and engraving capabilities and all our work is done in CAD/CAM to ensure the highest level of quality.
