Our office is located in beautiful historic Doylestown in Bucks County, PA. Dr. Riesenberger, known as Dr. Rob, specializes in treating patients from infancy through college age and has been providing dental care to children of this community since 1985. Dr. Rob and his staff are especially sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of young patients.
Our goal is to make dental visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Books, toys and video games create a "kid friendly" waiting room, and the hand-held video games at each patient station are a big hit too!

Services
Known as the best children's dentist in Doylestown, PA, and throughout Bucks County, PA, Dr. Riesenberger is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He attended Gettysburg College and Temple University School of Dentistry and served his residency at Johns Hopkins University. His Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry was earned from the University of Maryland.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends scheduling your child's first visit between the ages of six months and one year. This visit is more educational than treatment related and gives parents an opportunity to learn proper cleaning techniques, discuss fluoride needs and preventive dental care.
Patients are seen on an appointment basis and we ask that you call in advance so we can reserve the appropriate amount of time for your child. Our office is typically open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. However, as a courtesy to our school-age patients, we often make adjustments to our schedule to add additional days to coincide with our community's school closings and early dismissals.
Dr. Riesenberger an emergency pediatric dentist and is available, or has coverage, to handle pediatric emergencies 24 hours a day/seven days a week. Please call our Doylestown, PA office if a pediatric dental emergency occurs, and be sure to save any teeth that have been dislodged. If a permanent tooth has been knocked out, it should be rinsed in water and either replaced in the socket or placed in a container of milk or the patient's own saliva.
At our practice we use "child-friendly" terminology when discussing dental visits with your child. We recommend that parents avoid using words such as "drill", "needle", and "shot" because they cause unnecessary anxiety in some children. We want our patients to feel as comfortable as possible coming to our practice and will gladly offer suggestions to help make that possible for your child.

Today was our first time seeing Dr. Rob, after becoming unhappy with our previous dentist, and I cannot say enough about him and everyone in the office. Such nice folks, helpful, kind, enthusiastic and patient. They treated my three kids with respect and humor and were very transparent about charges incurred, and very thorough in terms of filing an insurance claim on our behalf. I highly recommend Dr. Rob!

Our children always have the best experience at Dr. Rob's. The staff is exceptional -- they are warm, welcoming and loving to my children. The quality of care is top notch and Dr. Rob always takes the time to discuss options and treatment plans with me following each appointment. Simply the best pediatric dentist in the area!

Dr. Rob is excellent in communicating with children & making the dentist visits fun, healthy, & positive! Most people may not realize the critical connection of dental/oral health and systemic diseases that appear unrelated in our bodies during our lifetimes. He helps kids create excellent habits that can provide overall great heath for their lives!

Dr. Rob has been our dentist for about 8 years now. My kids actually like going to his office. The staff is friendly and do their best to relieve their anxiety with every procedure. We’ve had a couple dental emergencies and have had no problems getting in to be seen. Fun things to do in the waiting room and the kids get to watch TV while they’re getting work done.

I used to work for Dr. Rob way back when I was in high school, but when it came time for my son to get 8 cavities filled at once, I knew I had to take him to Dr. Rob! Our local family dentist was unwilling to work on him because of his age (4), but Dr. Rob and his staff assured us everything would be fine! Love them!

New patient to the practice- we were referred there by another dentist for my 5 year old. They are the friendliest group of people. Although my daughter is still working on overcoming her fear of any kind of doctor, they were extremely gentle, calm, patient and accommodating. They took the time to really explain everything that needed to be done, and reassured me as well.
