Breakaway is one of the oldest Oakley dealers in the state of Indiana. We have proudly been an Oakley dealer since 1987. We offer a wide selection of Oakley sunglasses with an emphasis on sport and active styles for both men and women. We stock replacement ear socks/nose piece kits and replacement lenses in the most common colors.
We offer only the highest-rated, quality brands of fitness equipment in the industry. Because there are numerous choices in the quality of fitness equipment available, our fitness professionals will help guide you through the differences and provide reasons for choosing our brands. We love to ask questions that will direct you towards the best piece of fitness equipment based on your needs.
We do not maintain a rental fleet; however, any new or used bicycle we have in stock is eligible to rent if it will be used for light-duty transportation, fitness, or sightseeing. Describe for us the type of riding you'll be doing, and we will pick an appropriate bike for you. We'll ask for a refundable deposit of 50% of MSRP and a per day rental fee of 5% of MSRP.
Take advantage of BBS's layaway program that is offered all year long. Our layaway program allows you to select the bike of your dreams but not pay for it all at once. The layaway program allows you to take a full 90 days to pay. This is a great way to ensure that you get the bike you want! A deposit of $50 is required for total purchases including tax of less than $500 or 10% of purchase price for purchases over $500.
Led by ladies this is a "no drop" ride to encourage more women to ride. Weather-permitting, they leave from Breakaway Bike Shop at 6:00 p.m. If you have never ridden in a group, this is a great place to start and to learn valuable group riding skills. It also gives you an opportunity to meet other female riders of similar ability.

Update: The owner contacted me and explained the situation with finding the part needed to fix the bike, made everything right. Gave a fantastic deal on a touring bike. I unconditionally recommend them.

There was a pause in my work contract in Virginia a while back so I came home to Indiana for a few weeks to relax and spend time with extended family and brought in my Schwinn hybrid to have a rear derailleur replaced so I’d have something to ride while there. I was told it’d take about three days. They called me a week after I’d gone back to Virginia. I looked up the part on Amazon

I wish I had a five star experience like the other reviews posted. But that was not case for me. Dropped the bike on Wednesday morning for a tuneup and loose spoke causing a click. Ask how long it would be, Zack said their was 8 bikes ahead of me so Tuesday but possibly soon as Saturday. Following Wednesday called they had not touched the bike. Said they would get it tomorrow. Call 4:00 pm the next day still hadn't touched it. Told them I would come and get the bike. As a local I was trying to support local business, that didn't work out so well. If possible I would give them no stars.
