Curly Willow Spa is the most trusted and by far the best in Richmond! Early morning time saver, no fuss curling lashes or applying mascara, and less makeup required. I tried lash extensions for the first time for my birthday and loved them! But after a month or so I decided they weren't for me (because my lashes shed quickly) and decided to try a lash lift instead.
Eyelash extensions are when one artificial lash made of PBT is applied to one natural eyelash achieving a desired result. Our mission is to promote the health of your natural lash! A Mini Fill is just a sprinkle of our lash magic! This service is perfect between lash fills if you are going to an event or need a little pick-me-up until your next appointment.
The process takes about 60-75 minutes, in which we will place a cooling gel pad over your bottom lashes with hydrating properties. We then use a silicone pad sized to fit your eye shape and curl your eyelash over top of it. Once the prep is all finished we use a series of perming solutions safe for your eyes to obtain the desired result.
Dermaplaning is a type of exfoliation that not only removes facial hair, it also allows rejuvenates your skin by promoting deeper product penetration. Perfect before an event for makeup to go on flawlessly! With the use of Sorella Apothecary's signature chemical peel, this exfoliation removes dead skin and restore a youthful glow.
We keep our classes small so that you receive individualized training that suits your needs. With your course you will receive a kit with everything you need that will service up to 10 clients as well as a manual. Along with your course you will also receive a training video of a lash lift being performed.

I had an appointment at 2:30pm, unfortunately I feel sick- sore throat, malaise, head throbbing. I called at 12:15pm to cancel my appointment because I feel sick, don't want to put them at risk and I want to go to Bettermed right now instead and I told them that. I also told them I work in a hospital with covid patients and that I was trying to be cautious for their sake. Regardless I was put on hold and then told that I would be charged the full amount for my service that was booked. If I would have known they don't care about their clients coming in sick, I would have just come on in

Just had my first appointment at Curly Willow today for a lash lift and tint. I could not have loved it more! Such a cute, chic location. I came here after going to another spa in RVA for the last couple of years, and my only regret is not finding Curly Willow sooner! Amy did an incredible job on my lash lift; I have literally been looking in the mirror all day admiring my fab lashes (no shame). Seriously the best lash lift ever; go see Amy. She rocks.

Katie W. is so amazing and gave me lash extensions! She's so sweet and delicate with her work. You can tell she loves what she does. With that being said, she's the most patient person ever because lash extensions take about 2 hours. My lashes looks so fluffy and voluminous. She did a really great job. They also gave me a goody bag before I left which was a real treat. I'm sure I'll be back!

Both Katie’s are the best! Katie W did my lashes and KILLED it! They look so natural and exactly what I wanted. I had never had eyelash extensions before and she made the whole experience comfortable for me. Katie D did my eyebrows and was just as amazing! Very personable and professional. Everyone in the spa is very friendly and easy going. I will definitely be going back when I need a fill/wax again.

I cannot say enough good things about Sam and Curly Willow Spa. I came to Sam after a streak of bad eyelash extensions and she saved me. She took personal care to ensure I got what I wanted without damaging my lashes. I had a lash lift+tint with Sam and a wax with Stephanie, both were very positive experiences. I was a little nervous about the lashes because I have very fair, sensitive, Irish skin. Thankfully, Sam assuaged my nerves with her confidence and professionalism. I was first asked what I was looking to achieve-- Beyoncé (duh) and then we were off! Sam explained each step as we went along, which did wonders for my nerves. I first found Curly Willow through a referral from a friend after recently moving to Richmond. I cannot say enough amazing things about this spa & their owner Sam. After a terrible lash extension service from another local spa, I first came to her for a removal. She gently & safely removed the previous lashes returning my lashes to their normal healthy look. A week later, I came to Sam for a lash lift & couldn't be happier! My lashes look super natural while having the perfect added length. I am a long time client of hers having followed her from Bombshell. Waxing is a personal thing and when you find a great waxer, you do not let them go!
If you need a waxer in RVA then look no further. It is easy to schedule an appointment through their website. The location is on the main drag in Carytown, close to Sticky Rice. Parking is parking but that's Carytown.
I hope to try the other services provided at Curly Willow in the future.

Sam is the real deal! I moved from Tampa where I had been getting lashes done for almost 2 years. I was a nervous wreck trying to find someone new to trust with my lashes. Sam is AMAZING! I cannot sing her praises enough! My lashes ALWAYS look amazing and I get compliments on them literally every day. The environment is clean, comfortable and relaxing.
