Owner Richard Charnley is a Certified Pedorthist, and is qualified to fit, adjust and make custom orthotics. Appointments are available for evaluations and complimentary fittings.

Very profession. I purchased a pair of utility boots here maybe 4 months ago. Long story short they had gotten wet and shrunk about a half size(which I'm gonna blame keen for) even though they were water-resistant. Well I brought my old ones in and the gentleman swapped them for a fresh pair a half size up. I'm super pretentious about my feet so i was happy to leave happy. 5 stars thanks for the support!

I'm sure that this shoe store would've had exactly what my sister was looking for. We're from out of town, and pretty much planned our trip around getting here before they closed at 6 o'clock. Parenthetically it is a little confusing, because although the sign on the door says they close at six, and Google maps shows them at closing at six also, the yelp app shows them closing at five, so Empire Shoes needs to get consistent information out there. Anyway, when we arrived at 5:40 they were closed! What the what! Very very irritating! Well, there are lots of other shoe stores

I ordered a pair of shoes for my mother in law from Empire shoes. She has had numerous pairs of shoes and none fit her right. She is 94 and in a wheelchair. When the shoes came in Richard came to her home to fit her. What service! She is very happy with her new shoes. Thank you Richard! I would defiantly recommend Empire Shoes.

This is the 2nd and LAST time I will visit this store. I was hoping to find some hiking sandals and thought that maybe they (Empire Shoes) would have some, even tho it was out of season. The sandals I found there were exactly what I was looking for and the price was not a problem, HOWEVER, the sales clerk had as much personality as one of the bricks in the wall. No personality and dropping shoes down in front of me to try on was a real turn off. I asked to use the machine in the front of the store to see if I could find comfortable inserts and he definitely wasn't very hep on that idea.

Empire Shoes has good shoes but the manager is rude. The store policy is not to take returns if you pay big bucks for your shoes and they do not fit well or hurt your feet. You are just out of luck. For stores who want us to shop locally, their policies need to compare to the mall stores that back their products.

I went into Empire Shoes last fall to find tennis shoes that give me support and comfort, but they cannot be a running shoe. Zack knew exactly what I needed immediately! He listened to my concerns and pointed me right to the solution. They were not cheap, but they are perfect! Highly recommend Empire Shoes for great quality products and awesome customer service.

The ladies that helped today were so helpful. They carry the dansko brand and it was recommended that I wear these. The two ladies today were so informative and helpful. I was diagnosed with planters fasicitus very painful heel. Not only did they reassure me that these were the right shoes, but also, informed that they see about 3 people a day with the same issue. They informed on how to help this problem and simple exercises for it. Thankyou for all your help.
