Services
Shady Lane's Assisted Living is both a Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) and a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF). At Shady Lane, we encourage our Assisted Living residents to make themselves at home. Feel free to furnish your new residence with personal belongings and furniture. If you would prefer, our pre-furnished apartments are available for a fee.
Our well-trained staff of licensed nurses will be there when complex care is needed. Our 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for annual health inspections, staffing ratios, and quality measures proves that we strive for excellence every day, for every resident. In addition, our long-term skilled nursing provides compassionate and caring hospice services for end-of-life support.
Have you had a medical setback? Don't feel comfortable going home after a procedure? Looking for a respite stay? You can stay in Shady Lane's Assisted Living for a few nights, or up to thirty days, until you're ready to go home. You can keep the cost down by customizing our available services and choosing the ones you'll actually need.
These people set us apart from most: they are local leaders who serve on our Board of Directors and help guide our principles and keep us in touch with the needs of the community. We have been very pleased with the care that my grandparents have received at Shady Lane. They have kind, compassionate staff who are dedicated to the residents. They have also done a great job of keeping everyone safe during COVID-19 and found ways to keep families engaged with video calls, email notes to residents, etc. They went above and beyond to make sure my Grandparents could be part of the video call for my cousins wedding. We truly appreciate all that you do each and every day! Thank you!

Ive love this place all staff and nurses treated me very well ive coundnt ask for a better place to get the best ever with all staff memebers ive coundnt say enough just great poeple from housekepting, to laundry, cookes, the aids, rehab nurses ive was very thankfull as well gatefull for them to help me threw myrehab there thanks tom protzman.

Staying there for rehab. Not impressed in the least. Staff comes into your room all day and night even if your sitting on the toilet. Will come in to give you meds or check your blood (no privacy).
They advertise " Our Smart Healing Program puts dietary professionals on your team. Meals at Shady Lane are not only delicious, but set you on a smarter, healthier road to recovery. "
Their delicious meals consist of ham sandwiches, mac and cheese and bologna sandwiches for dinner. Cold eggs and cold oatmeal for breakfast and leftovers for lunch !

My many years as an employee at Shady Lane have been the most rewarding experience of my life , second to having children and grandchildren. There are so many kind, compassionate people who work here. I have had my own family member come to Shady Lane when they needed nursing care and never regretted choosing Shady Lane.

After having family and friends at the nursing home I soon found out that I made a horrible decision. The nurses their are rude, they do not answer any lights, they go around finding the aids to answer the lights and start fights with the aids in the hallways. The staff is always changing due to them being terminated or the staff is walking off the job. I will never put family or a friend in the nursing home at Shady Lane due to the experiences I have witnessed and have heard from other families.
