The staff of the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home are dedicated members of the Troy community and have families of their own. Not only are they professional and caring in handling funeral arrangements for your loved one, but they are real people who have compassion for what you are going through.
Our dedicated staff is here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and strive to provide every family with complete care. We offer arrangements at our office or we can come out to your home. For families out of town or who do not wish to come in, we also offer online arrangements.
When Pat lived in Findley Lake NY, she was very active in the community and was a Girl Scout leader, taking them on many trips. When they moved to Avon, NY Pat was the head Teller for Marine Midland Bank. Then Pat and her family moved to Troy PA in. Patricia was born in Buffalo New York, on December.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Brian is a graduate of Pottsville Area High School. He studied at Northampton Community College, where he obtained an associate's degree in Applied Science and Certificate of Mortuary Education.

From the moment I set foot in Vickery Funeral Home I felt so comfortable. The care and compassion that Dan presented was so comforting to me. Dan was so nice and all questions presented to him were answered in a caring way. What a great funeral we had for my father and that was due to the Vickery Funeral Home. My experience with Vickery Funeral Home and with Dan went above expectations. During the time of the passing of our father... Dan was the “man behind the curtain”...each and every detail along with comfort support was provided and “just appeared”.
From the call of Dad’s passing to the grave site ceremony... all handled professionally and with sense of urgency.
