Laminate countertops are available in a wide variety of colors, textures and patterns. The end result is a clean and finished surface that won't put a huge strain on your budget. Second, choose your countertop style. There are a range of different options such as triple-cove, double-cove, waterfall, D-edge or an applied edge available.
Although they are subject to excessive wear, adhering to a few basic guidelines when caring for laminate countertops will prolong the original appearance. Avoid sliding heavy or rough objects along the surface of your laminate countertops, as they will scratch and chip if they are subjected to such treatment.
The stone is treated with a nontoxic penetrating sealer that is safe for food preparation surfaces. Frequent cleaning is recommended with a granite cleaner or mild soap then rinsed with warm water. It is recommended that water does not sit on the surface for longer than necessary to avoid water spots and mineral build up.

I bought a beautiful granite countertop when we remodeled our kitchen 5 yrs ago. It started to develope white spots all over a part of it. When I called to ask if someone could come out and take a look, I was told that they would not come unless I would put half down on a repair estimate that was put together from pictures that I had sent via email. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They have not been out to see or fix the issue.

Score = 10+ I went to several granite shops and B&B was by far the most helpful,and fairly priced. I did not feel like I was being nickled and dimed for every cut, etc. I wish I had more areas to install granite as I would certainly return to B&B Laminates.
