Byer's Well Drilling, Inc. was founded in 1968 (formerly known as Davenport's Well & Supply). We have worked with various utility contractors and several project managers over the years and expanded the equipment inventory to include an additional drill rig, 3 water/rig support trucks, 6 service tons, 3 mini excavators, 3 skid steer loaders, hydro frack equipment for low producing wells, and 2 grouting machines.

Water well drilling is a process with unknown variables. These unknowns make it almost impossible to give an exact price quote for a water well drilling job prior to the start of the job. Water Well Drilling begins with choosing a well site. Occasionally, excavation is required. The drill rig is brought out to the site, set up and drilling begins.
It's worth a periodic visit to your pressure tank and pressure switch to monitor how they're doing. If you ever see your pressure gauge cycling rapidly during water use (quickly dropping pressure, building pressure, and dropping again within 30 seconds) you have a problem. Generally this means a "waterlogged" pressure tank that doesn't have air in the top.

Great bunch of guys. It was my mistake not to have called them first because the first people I called was going to replace a water pump that did not need to be replaced. these guys came out fast and found the problem quickly and it was nothing more than a broken pipe on the outside water spout. These are some really great and HONEST people.... thanks again for the great service. I will know who to call first next time.

To start, the service guys were really good. Knowledgeable, hardworking.
But their billing is messed up and I ended up being charged $100 dollars more than I was quoted. I wouldn't have a problem with the that but I was charged for service time when they didn't do any service.
I called, let them know I tested positive for coliform and that I thought there was a problem with my well. I was specific that it would need to be disinfected - but it would have to be inspected and fixed before they proceeded with disinfectant. The office was nice

Our well went out at 6PM on a Friday night. We called and heard back by 7PM, Rod showed up at 8PM, and well was fixed by 11PM even though he had to entirely pull the pump out and drive back into town to pick up repair pump. I can't say enough good things about the level of service we got. Rod was just terrific and super nice.

Byers sent out two top notch guys within a.couple of hours of my calling as we had no water whatsoever. Within an hour they has replaced a defective pressure switch and also informed us we needed a new air tank which they were able to install the next day. They were prompt, courteous and very personable.
I would highly recommend Byers Well Drilling and will use them in the future.
