Deb was wonderful. I bought flowers earlier in the day here at Agway to plant next to the graves of veterans. Someone had watched us plant the flowers and given us a 50$ donation to go BACK to agway and buy more flowers to plant. So I rushed to agway and got there at exactly 5:30 when they close.
I caught Deb at the door as she was leaving (the whole store was dark and registers were turned off) and asked if she would be able to let me purchase 50$ worth of flowers to finish planting next to the veterans. She WITHOUT question let me inside to get more flowers, and was amazingly helpful with which to select.

Walked up to a cashier that was counting cash so I could check out. She looks up and says it's closed and she doesn't know why the chain isn't up. Then went back to counting the cash. I stand in another line 5 minutes. Pay my $70 for my various stuff. Girl gives receipt turns around to talk to some other store person. No thank you, or thanks or take it easy. It wasn't just me the two cashiers this past Saturday all had some type of attitude or just despise their job.
Great stuff inside...humans; not so much.

Agree with some of the other commenters that their customer service is way below par. A few years ago they sold me inferior lilac plants but like a fool I kept returning for other stuff.
This year I called before coming and asked if their heirloom tomato plants were there. I was told "yes, just got a delivery." When I arrived I was told "no, it's on the truck" and that it hadn't been unloaded. By noon? Huh? Then I found out from someone else "no, it's not on the truck." If store personnel don't know their stock, they shouldn't communicate

This is truly a one-stop shop. One building has everything for pets (including pets themselves, said to be from local sources & not “puppy mills”). Also tools, outdoor clothing, fun finds, & so much more. Very helpful & knowledgeable staff, & community-minded owners. The other building has a great selection of flowers & plants & garden supplies of all sorts (also some clothing & fun stuff!)
Helpful, knowledgeable staff. This place epitomizes what it means to “shop local”!

Pretty store. Besides the garden and agricultural items, it sells all sorts of gift store items for all; the staff is friendly, but I recommend shopping with caution as some things are grossly overpriced and often mislabelled. I wanted to buy a canister of plant fertilizer: On the shelf it was marked at $16.99, but the actual cash register price was $18.49. The same item sells for $16.99 at Ace and $11.98 at HD and Amazon (Shipping included). It is an outrageous discrepancy and most of their garden supply products are overpriced.

Poor customer services, for the buttom line. This store should know who's there customers that supports them all year around. I've been shopping there over 20 years, I spend a lot of money. Fertilizer, lime, top soil, trees ect. I went there on 8/11/13, where I presented them with a apple tree that I bought in October,
the prior time that I was there I mentioned to the lady that worked there that one of my trees that I bought in October did not take, but all the other ones I bought bloomed and took. She told me when the tree is fully dead to bring it in, as I did, and they denied me my
