Went to buy a handful of minor maintenance tuneup items, along with a brand new Honda mower. They were rude about not landing a contract with Honda. It appears Honda is now only sold at big box stores. They stated “they signed a deal with the devil”. I was planning on purchasing all of my tuneup supplies totaling $100 or more a month in my busy season. After this rude interaction among a few other instances of not having what I needed. I will drive to Georgetown to source my parts. I tried to go super local. I feel like this shop didn’t want my smaller sums of money as I did not spend big

At least 5 people in Longhorn Outdoor Power Equipment shirts were within a few feet of me and the lady on the phone said someone will be right with me. She was busy placing a lunch order. I don't mind waiting when folks are busy but placing your lunch order ahead of taking care of a cash paying customer. I will drive further into Austin in hopes my sale matters to the merchant.

The service here is amazing. Brought in my stihl chainsaw to get a new chain and bar. The guy behind the counter refuse to sell me the bar because he said I didn't need it swapped out my chain , cranked it up showing me it was good to go. Their prices are better than the big box store ! I'm a customer for life you don't find experienced, honest help often enough. Thanks again wished I remembered the gentleman's name who helped me.

I have been in this shop several times. Sometimes to just look and learn about the new equipment, sometimes to buy different pieces of equipment. One thing I can say is that the owners pay attention to their customers. They always answer every question and teach you thoroughly. The customer service and LOYALTY to customers is amazing. I bought a SCAG Vride 2 about a week ago and they taught me in and out how it works and how to service it myself. I also had an incident where the belt fell off a piece of my equipment and one of the owners literally drove out within 10-15 minutes and took care of

I purchased a Honda HRX217HYA walk behind, self-propelled, gas powered, 21 inch cut mower from Kevin Thomas today. This equipment replaces a 1989 model that is nearly identical in form and function. The customer service experience is excellent at Longhorn Outdoor Power Equipment. If this new mower does not start on the first pull for the next thirty years I will be back to discuss it with Kevin. Thank you to longhorn power for squeezing in both of my machines and for getting them tuned up for routine maintenance and my blades sharpened. And the work was actually finished EARLIER than anticipated. It was a nice surprise to see that they weren’t extremely forceful when it came to enforcing masks, being that everyone there was social distancing. I like to breathe, and so do they, especially when they work around lots of gas fumes! Their breathing is important so that we can continue to bring in our outdoor power machinery, and be able to buy from their impressive selection of new products

Can't say enough good things about these guys! The awesome service is in competition with the awesome products they sell! Started off with a super awesome zero turn made by TORO, using the TORO made me realize my push mower jus wasn't "cutting" it anymore! picked up a new Honda mower and haven't looked back! I'm new in the industry and these guys helped me kick my business off right with reliable equipment. They have earned a customer for life!
