Dr. Patricia grew up in Wiesbaden, Germany, where her parents worked for the U.S. Government. She moved to Texas to attend her mother's alma matter, Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1994. She began her career in Houston while searching for the ideal location for private practice.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
New patients keep our business growing, so we are always proud to offer high quality optometry services to our patients. We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
Computer Vision is a relatively new term within the optometry field and refers to eye problems associated with the prolonged use of computers and electronics that use a digital screen. Although it can be temporary, there are times when computer vision can strain the eyes to a degree that permanently affects your vision as well.
The optometrists at Bridgeport Eye Center in Bridgeport, Texas, prescribe the newest, most technologically advanced contact lenses for our patients. A multitude of lens choices are available, whether you need soft or rigid lenses. Also if you require toric, spherical, or tinted lenses, fitting regimes for disposable lenses with daily, two week, monthly wearing times are available.

Front desk staff were friendly and fast. The staff that tested my eyes before the doctor saw me was patient and understanding and documented all of my concerns. The doctor was patient, listened to all of my concerns and took her time with the eye exam. It was so refreshing finding an optometrist that didn't rush me through an exam.

I was completely satisfied with the services and procedures. The staff explained everything completely and did not make one of exam without first clarifying everything that must be done. Dr. Young, was professional and likable, her exam was very professional and thorough. I will certainly use Bridgeport Eye Center for all of my eye exams in the future.
